The formula for bidding capacity is: Bidding Capacity = {[AxNx2]-B} Where, A = Maximum turnover in construction works executed in any one year during the last five years taking into account the completed as well as works in progress. The value of completed works shall be brought to current costing level by enhancing at a simple rate of 7% per annum. N = Number of years prescribed for completion of work for which bids has been invited. B = Value of existing commitments and ongoing works to be completed during the period of completion of work for which bids have been invited.

The required prior work experience for the bidder includes completing similar works with specific values and percentages. The bidder should have completed:
- One similar work of value not less than 80% of the estimated cost of the project, which is Rs.577.48 L
- Two similar completed works each of value not less than 50% of the estimated cost of the project, which is Rs.360.925 L
- Three similar works each of value not less than 40% of the estimated cost of the project, which is Rs.288.74 L
The bidder should have satisfactorily 100% completed similar works during the last 7 years, and the value of executed works shall be brought to current costing level by enhancing the actual value of work done at a simple rate of 7% per annum. The bidder's experience will be evaluated based on the details furnished by the bidder, with a maximum of 20 marks for this criterion. The bidder should furnish a list of all works of similar nature successfully completed during the last seven years.
