To determine the bid capacity required, the eligibility criteria mentioned are: - Three similar works each costing not less than Rs. 385.32681 L OR - Two similar works each costing not less than Rs. 577.99022 L. For E&M Works, the bid capacity required is: - Three similar completed works each of value not less than Rs. 69.68275 lakhs, - Two similar completed works each of value not less than Rs. 87.10319 lakhs, - One similar completed work of value not less than Rs. 139.3651 lakhs. The bidding capacity of the contractor should be equal to or more than Rs. 963.31702 L. The formula for calculating the bid capacity is: Bidding Capacity = {[AxNx2]-B} Where, A = Maximum turnover in construction works executed in any one year during the last five years taking into account the completed as well as works in progress. N = Number of years prescribed for completion of work for which bids have been invited. B = Value of existing commitments and ongoing works to be completed during the period of completion of work for which bids have been invited. The financial eligibility criteria for the bidder includes: i. Average annual financial turnover (gross) of Rs. 481.65851 L on construction works during the last three consecutive years. ii. Should not have incurred any loss in more than two years during available last five consecutive balance sheets. iii. Should have a solvency of minimum Rs. 385.32681L. iv. The bidder should submit Net-worth certificate of minimum Rs. 96.33170 L issued by a certified Chartered Accountant.
