The required prior work experience for the bidder involves successfully completing or substantially completing specific categories of work during the last 7 years. These categories include: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. For subletting of work, the subcontractor must have completed at least one similar work costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted in the last 5 years, unless the work to be subletted costs up to Rs 50 lakh, in which case no prior work experience is required. The bidder can use work experience certificates from a public listed company with an average annual turnover of Rs 500 crore and above in the last 3 financial years, provided the certificate is issued by an authorized person. Relevant documents, including a copy of the work order and payment details, must be submitted to support the work experience certificate.
