The required prior work experience for the bidder is 5 years. Work performed as a prime contractor or as a nominated sub-contractor will be considered, provided the sub-contract involved execution of all main items of work described in the bid document. The bidder is required to provide information on the work performed in the past, including the value of the contract, the stipulated period of completion, and the actual date of completion. For similar works completed, the bidder should have satisfactorily completed works of a similar nature and size. The requirements for similar works are: - Three similar works, each of value not less than 40% of the estimated cost put on tender, - Two similar works, each of value not less than 50% of the estimated cost put on tender, or - One similar work of value not less than 80% of the estimated cost. The contractor must have achieved an Annual Turnover of at least 30% of the estimated cost in any 3 years during the last 5 years. Additionally, the bidder should have executed in any one year the minimum quantities of the following items of works: i. Cement Concrete (including RCC and PCC) - 70 Cu m ii. Brick Work - 60 Cum iii. Steel Work (Reinforcement Steel) - 80 Qtl The bidder should also have completed Hospital Building works on earlier occasions, with preference given to those who have done so. The bidder should demonstrate availability of key and critical equipment for this work, and personnel with adequate experience. The bidder should have liquid assets and/or availability of credit facilities of not less than 10% of the Tender value. The bidder's available bid capacity should be more than the total bid value. The bidder should have a minimum cash investment of up to 25% of the contract value during the implementation of the work. The bidder should have access to a line of credit and other financial resources facilities (10% of Contract Value), certified by the Bankers (not more than 3 months old).
