The required prior work experience for the bidder is 5 years. Work performed as a prime contractor or as a nominated sub-contractor will be considered. The bidder should have experience in similar works. For similar works, the bidder should have completed: - Three similar works, each of value not less than 40% of the estimated cost put on tender, - Two similar works, each of value not less than 50% of the estimated cost put on tender, or - One similar work of value not less than 80% of the estimated cost. The contractor must have achieved an Annual Turnover of at least 30% of the estimated cost in any 3 years during the last 5 years. The bidder should have executed in any one year the minimum quantities of the following items of works: i. Cement Concrete (including RCC and PCC) - 70 Cu m ii. Brick Work - 60 Cum iii. Steel Work (Reinforcement Steel) - 80 Qtl The bidder should also have experience in construction in the North Eastern Region. No specific percentage of similar works completed is mentioned in terms of quantity, but the bidder should have completed works of a similar nature over the last five years. In case of equal bid amounts, preference will be given to the bidder who has completed Hospital Building works on earlier occasions. The bidder should have a minimum of 25% of the contract value as an undertaking to invest during the implementation of work. The bidder should also have evidence of access to a line of credit and availability of other financial resources facilities (10% of Contract Value). The cost of electric work is 6.00 lakh. The bidder should also have liquid assets and/or availability of credit facilities, which is 10% of the tender value.
