Supply, install, testing & commissioning of 6 way RMU ( 01 incoming + 05 outgoing), 12 KV, 630 A, outdoor, extensible type, SF6 insulated, consisting of 01 No, 630A VCB, fixed, non draw out type as incoming and 05 Nos, 630A VCB as outgoing, conforming to following specifications:- (A) RMU shall be floor mounted, 11 KV, 630 Amps, 21 kA for 3 Seconds, SF6 Insulated, Motorized, Outdoor extensible type, RMU with Air Insulated Bus Connected Metering unit, Type tested in line with latest IEC Standards, suitable for operations at a height up to 1000 Meters above sea level and Ambient Temperature range from 5ºC to 50ºC without any de-rating. Switchgear and Busbar shall be contained in a Stainless Steel Enclosure [made out of min 2 mm thick SS 304 Grade sheet] filled with SF6 at 0.3 Bar [300 hPa] Relative Pressure, RMU Tank shall provide Full Insulation and Switchgear shall be insensitive to the environment with Degree of Protection of IP67, Switchgear Operating Mechanism shall have an IP2X Protection and Cable Chamber shall have IP3X Protection, Outer Enclosure shall be IP 54 type tested, Powder Coated with Pure Polyester Based Paint, suitable for site installation conditions, Accidental Overpressure due to an Internal Arc is limited by the opening of the safety valve, at the bottom of the metal enclosure, away from the operator, Plug in type of extensibility must be provided and coupling busbar should not be exposed to air to avoid oxidation of busbars. Extension of cubicle shall require 450mm to handle and the gap between the coupled RMU’s must be within 10mm. (B) Each Vacuum Circuit Breaker [VCB] shall comprising of the following:- [i] 11 KV, 630 Amps, 21 kA / 3s, 3 Pole Motorized VCB (Non draw out type) with 3 pole manual disconnector and 3 pole manual earth switch, Motorized Spring Assisted Mechanism and Series Trip Coil – 1 No. [ii] Self Powered Relay with O/C, S/C, E/F Protection. Relay shall have a Front USB for Laptop Interface, LCD Display, 10 Event Records, 5 Fault Records, min 2 setting group and keypad for setting parameters for the relay – 1 No [iii] Resin Cast ring core Protection CT, Plate mounted type : 200-50/1A, 5P10, 2.5 VA-01 Set. [iv] Resin Cast ring core Metering CT, Plate mounted type : 200-50/1A, Cl. 1.0, 2.5 VA-01 Set. [iv] Live Cable Indicator with indications at the Front and Three Inlets to check the Synchronization of Phases – 1 No [v] Making capacity - 52.5 kAp [vi] Cable Termination Bushing suitable for up to 1 Run, 3 Core, 185 Sq.mm, XLPE Cable [vii] Cable Termination Cover Boots [Push on type] [viii] Circuit Breakers shall have Two Positions: Open or Disconnected and Closed. A separate and independent 3 Position Earthing Switch and disconnector shall be fitted to open and earth the cables in such way that interlocks prevent all unauthorized operations. An operating mechanism shall be used to manually close the circuit breaker and charge the mechanism in a single movement. An independent mechanism shall be fitted for the 3 Positions Earthing Switch and Disconnector Circuit breaker shall be fitted with a local system for manual tripping by an Integrated Push Button. There shall be no automatic reclosing. Circuit Breaker shall have a min of 2000 Mechanical and Electrical Operations and 50 Nos Short Circuit Operations, Disconnector and Earth Switch shall have a minimum of 1000 [M1] Mechanical Operations , 100 Electrical Operations at rated current. (C) Air Insulated Bus Connected Metering Unit comprising the following:- [i] Air Insulated Enclosure with necessary Bus Connection – 1 No [ii] PT 11KV / √3 / 110V / √3, 50 VA, Class-1.0 – 1 Set [iii] Multi Function Meter, Digital Type [Displaying A, V, PF, Hz, KVA, KW, KVAR, KWH, KVARH etc. Class 1.0 / 0.5] with RS485 Port for Communication in Modbus Protocol. - 01 Set (Contd...)

[iv] R / Y / B Indicating Lamps – 1 Set [v] 11 KV / 230V AC, Class 1, 500VA Control Transformer – 1 No [vi] Battery and Battery Charger, 12 Ah, [I/P-230V AC, O/P - 24V DC] – 1 No (D) Space Heater with thermostat (E) 2 x 8 Window Alarm Annunciator and Hooter Notes:- [a] An operator situated in front, lateral and rear [A-FLR 21 kA – 1 Sec, Downwards Exhaust, for Tank as well as Cable Compartment] of the RMU Switch board during an internal fault shall not be exposed to the effects of Arcing. Internal Arc Type Test Report for IAC AFLR 21 kA for 1 Sec for both Tank & Cable Box shall be for minimum 3 Way / 3 Function RMU. [b] All operations shall be from front of the RMU, including access to cable bushings. Bushings along the sides or the rear of the RMU are not acceptable. [c] Construction of Plinth / Foundation for 11KV RMU: The rate quoted is deemed to be including the cost of Plinth / Foundation and nothing extra shall be paid on this account. The foundation shall consists of Two Parallel Brick Walls built using bricks straight or curved on plan to any radius built in Cement Mortar 1:6 of length 2.10m, of suitable thickness and height as per the manufacturer’s instructions over PCC Concrete Bed of 150mm thick in PCC 1:4:8, Type D-2, using 40mm graded stone aggregate over 150mm thick Hardcore of gauge not exceeding 63mm of broken stones or boulders, deposited, spread and leveled in layers not exceeding 15 cm thick watered and rolled, over 150mm thick Sand Bed, rendering to brick surfaces, 15 mm thick in Cement Mortar 1:4, and finishing the top surface even and smooth without using extra cement, applying Three coats of white washing including earthwork excavation of pit size 2.10 X 1.20 X 0.60 Metres complete all as per manufacturer’s recommendations, as specified and as directed. [d] The rate quoted is also deemed to be including the cost of disconnection of HT Cables up to 3 Core, 240 Sq.mm from existing 2 Pole / 4 Pole Structures, removing of cable loop and reconnection to RMU after new end termination complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. [e] End termination joints shall be measured and paid separately. [f] The make of RMU / VCB / vacuum interrupter / Relays offered shall be of same make. Different makes shall not be accepted.
