(A) Solar PV modules :- Solar PV modules capable for total power plant capacity of Solar PV Array shall be 200KWp electricity at 415V 3 Phase system :- (i) Cell of the Modules shall be poly crystalline high power silicon elis. (B) - Array Structure :- (i) Hot dip galvanized MS mounting structures of minimum 80 microns may be used for mounting the modules/ panels/ arrays. Each structure should have angle of inclination as per the site conditions to take maximum insulation, However to accommodate more capacity the angle inclination may be reduced until the plant meets the specified performance ratio requirements. The array structuring must be done in consultation with PGCIL. The mounting structure steel shall be as per latest IS 2062: 1992 and galvanization of the mounting structure shall be in compliance of latest IS 4759. (ii) The mounting structure shall be co-designed to withstand the speed for the wind zone of the location where a PV system is proposed to be installed. Suitable fastening arrangement such as grouting and calming should be provided to secure the installation against the specific wind speed.(iii) Structural material shall be corrosion resistant and electrolytically compatible with the materials used in the module frame, its fasteners, and nuts and bolts. Aluminium structures also can be used which can withstand the wind speed of respective wind zone. Necessary protection towards rusting need to be provided either by coating or anodization. (iv) The fasteners used should be made up of stainless steel. The structures shall be designed to allow easy replacement of any module. The array structure shall be so designed that it will occupy minimum space without sacrificing the output from the SPV panels. (v) Regarding civil structures the bidder need to take care of the load baring capacity of the roof and need to arrange suitable structures based on the quality of roof. (vi) Cable ties shall be used to proerlyhold the cables/ wires on the backside of PV modules, GI pipe with appropriate size shall be used to guide cables from PV array to JB to Inverter. The minimum height between cable guide and ground shall be 6 inch and the cable guide shall be supported on ground at appropriate locations so as to avoid any bending of the guide. (viii)The bidder should design the structure height to retain and increase aesthetics of the building. The minimum clearance between the lower edge of the module and the ground shall be minimum 6 inch over the terrace ground level/ roof structure. Contractor shall take dare of the ease of movement of manpower for cleaning and maintenance purpose. Further, contractor shall also consider all shading factors including parapet wall, overhead tanks, antenna, hardings etc. to offer better plant performance. (viii)The total load of the structure (when installed with PV modules) on the terrace shall be less than 60 kg/ m2. Roof treatment must be done to avoid seepage after installation work is over. PCC foundation for holding modules mounting structures foundation materials shall be as per M15 (1:2:4) concrete specification.

(C)-JUNCTION BOXES - (i)The junction boxes are to be provided in the PV array for termination of connecting cables. The junction boxes shall be made of GRP/ FRP/Powder coated Aluminium / cast aluminium alloy with full dust, water & vermin proof arrangement. All wire, cables must be terminated through cable lugs. The JBs shall be such that input & output termination can be made through suitable cable glands. (ii) Copper bus bars/ terminal blocks housed in the junction box with suitable termination threads conforming to IP65 standard and IEC 62208. Suitable capacity MCBs/ MCCB shall be provided for controlling the DC power output to the PCU along with necessary surge arrestors. (E) AC Distribution Board or AC Junction Box : (i) AC Distribution Panel Board (ACDB) shall control the AC power from PCU/ inverter, and should have necessary protective devices such as MCB/ MCCBs, protection fues, surge protection devices interconnection from ACDB to mains at LT Bus bar while in grid tied mode. All switches and the circuit breakers, connectors should conform to IEC 60947, Par-I, II and III. the change-over switches, cabling work should be undertaken by the bidder as part of the project. (F) PCU/ Inverter : (i) As SPV array produces direct current electricity, it is necessary to convert this direct current into alternating current and adjust the voltage levels to match the grid voltage. Conversion shall be achieved using an electronic inverter and the associated control and protection devices. All these components of the system are termed the "Power Conditioning Unit (PCU)". (M) DEFECT LIABILITY AND COMPREHENSIVE MAINTENANCE (i) The contractor will have 5 year Defect Liability period after completion of the work. During the DLP ocntractor will ensure generation of Minimum Average units (4 Units/KW/Day). Contractor rep and GE rep will make a joint inspection of plant on monthly basis and monthly summary of plant production will be jointly singned. (ii) The comprehensive maintenanance of the solar power plant for 5yrs during defect liability period is deemed be included in scope and contractor to quote accordingly. (N)DESIGN/DRAWINGS/APPROVALS/DOCUMENTATION (i) The contractor shall carry out Shadow Analysis at the site and acordingly design strings & arrays layout considering optimal usage of space, material and labour. The contractor should submit the array layout drawings along with Shadow Analysis Report to GE for approval. (ii) Drawings : The contractor shall furnish the following details for approval of accepting officer prior to the commencement of the work: (a) General arrangement and dimensioned layout. (b) Schematic drawing of the plant showing the SV panels, Power conditioning inverter, Junction Boxes, AC and DC Distribution Board, metres etc. (c) Structural drawing of the mounting structure. (d) Layout of solar Power Arrays and strings. (e) Shadow analysis of the roof (iii) Drawings : On completin of project contractor shall provide Two sets of following (a) Structural drawings (b) Electrical drawings (c) O & M manuals of each equipments showing complete technical data sheet including details of specificatioms and makes. (d)Details of synchronization equipments and protection equipments (iv) Design of solar power plant including structural design of Module Mounting structure shall be vetted by IIT/NIT/ NISE/Govt institute or independebt agency approved by MNRE. The vetted design must be submitted to accepting authority for approval before commencement of work. (v) Display Board : The contractor to put up a display board of suitable size and type of a material at the project site mentioning the following : Plant Name Capacity, Location, Date of commisssiong, Warranty details, CA NO., MES Office, Power generation, Name of the contractor, Contact number for Maintenance, etc.

Note-(a) Various Components of solar plant(inverter,panels,cables,array,junction box,etc) shall be designed to suitable to available roof areas of various buildings of subject project and to achieve maximum effeciency of system (b) Test Reports/ Certificates of PV Modules, Solar cells and Invertor to be submitted by the contractor. (c) All items/work services, material & labour required to designing,supply,erection,installation,commissioning and testing of roof top solar photovoltaic power plant shall be deemed to be included in quoted rate. (d)The required LT panels/feeder panel/MCCB breaker units as required at each bldg/block/area feeding from each inverter unit ACDB along with required cabling, other services,connections to bldg/block/area main LT panel are also deemed to be included in scope. (O)DATA ACQUISITION SYSTEM/PLANT MONITORING.- (i) On line remote Monitor system to be provided to monitor the performance of the inverter (power, array voltages, array currents & AC parameters), energy yield, temperature, irradiance level etc. and It could provides flexible interface to facilitate PC based inverter monitoring and control via GPRS modem and enternet/ethernet connection. This should have include web visualization system and data logger with integrated ethernet port. (a) Data acquisition System shall be provided for each of the solar PV plant. (b) Data Logging Provision for plant control and monitoring, time and date stamped system data logs for analysis with the high quality, including suitable PC & Printer. Metering and Instrumentation for display of systems parameters and status indication to be provided. (ii) The scope includes Remote Monitoring and data acquisition through Remote Monitoring System software at the owner/SECI location with latest software/hardware configuration and service connectivity for online/real time data monitoring/control complete to be supplied and operation and maintenance/control to be encured by the supplier. Provision for interfacing these data on owner/ SECI server and portal in future shlall be kept.
