Note for item No. 1.00 to 3.00 :- (a) New transformer oil to be bought in company sealed ISI marked container with test certificate and cost of container & transportation & lab test shall be inclusive of the quoted rate (b) Filtration /dehydration of transformer oil shall be carried out at the location where transformer is installed and required pipe connection from filter machine to transformer shall be made and rate shall be inclusive of quoted rate. (c) Necessary filter/dehydration plant having pressure gauge, hour meter, temperaturature gauge to be brought at site by contractor and to be kept permanently inside ND (V) till completion of work and rate deemed to be included in the quoted rate. In any condition, in-out of the filter machine during the progress of the work will not be allowed. (d) Transformer oil test report before and after dehydration/filtration shall be submitted duly authenticated by authorised person .

M&L for maintenance/servicing of 132/11 KV transformer OLTC at 132kV side by 1. Complete draining of oil into a tanker.
2. Dismantle of mechanical tap driving parts.
3. Opening of inspection cover plate.
4. Checking of internal tap leads and marking accordingly.
5. Disconnection of tap leads from OLTC fibre chamber.
6. Loosening of Nuts at OLTC bottom plate.
7. Tightening of jack bolts.
8. Lifting the OLTC fibre chamber to a minimum of 1 foot.
9. Cleaning the old gasket area and cutting a new gasket (RC 70C).
10. Pouring of silicon paste and replacement of new gasket.
11. Tightening all nuts at bottom of OLTC.
12. Connection of all OLTC tap leads to the same place as marked.
13. The same procedure follows for remaining 2 phases also.

14. Closing the inspection cover with new gasket.
15. Dry air to be pushed with dry air generator into the transformer or can push nitrogen gas to maintain dew point. 16. Checking for any leakage. 17. If any other leakage then arrests the leak.
18. Vacuuming the transformer.
19. Check oil BDV.
20. Oil filling.
21. Filtration of transformer oil.
22. Routine tests like voltage ratio, magnetic balance, vector group, IR value and PI need to be conduct before energising the transformer
23. Charge the transformer for 4 hours Ideal and then load up to 30 % load for 4 hours.
Note:
(a) Minimum 30 KL tanker required.
(b) Hydra required.
(c) Filter machine required.
(d) Dry air generator or Nitrogen cylinders required.
(e) 10-12 mm SRC gaskets (f) Transformer oil shall be measured separately
(g) Necessary Tanker to be arranged by the contractor before draining the oil from transformer.

M&L for maintenance/servicing of 132/11 KV transformer OLTC control panel board after dismantling taking out all doors, covers from front and rear. Servicing comprising of thorough cleaning of complete inside cabinet with forced air and suitable cleaning agent, removing all dust/dirt, cleaning of all insulators, busbars, switchgears, all cable terminals with CTC and clean dry cloth, cleaning of outside surface with CTC and dry cloth, tightening of all nuts, bolts & washers. Repair comprising of replacement of burnt aluminium cable lugs, burnt switchgear, non-functional panel meters, non-functional indicator lamps, damaged panel metering wirings, nonfunctional selector switches, unsv CTs, unsv bakelite fuse with fuse base, damaged panel door/cover knobs & door locks, damaged door hinges, damaged cable insulation with coloured heat shrink insulating sleeves and required nuts, bolts & washers. Overhauling comprising of dismantling cable ends from panel board and cable duct, replace with new one, providing proper aluminium cable lugs and refixing to original position with required nuts, bolts & washers complete all as specified and directed.
