Demolition of Brick / Stone Masonry built in Cement Mortar including all quoins arches pillars etc and removing rubbish to a distance not exceeding 1.50 KM complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of Mild Steel or Wrought Iron Work of any description not otherwise provided for complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down Cement Plaster of any description on brick or stone walls or concrete surfaces etc including raking out joints, hacking for key scrubbing down with water etc and removing rubbish to a distance not exceeding 1.5 KM complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 10 Sq.m on plan area and not exceeding 1.5m deep in Soft / Loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick of excavated soil complete all as specified and as directed. Note: A deduction of 10% shall be made from total computed volume of filling to cater in bulk irrespective of machinery used for ramming.

Removal of excavated material [Soil] to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for PCC 1:3:6, Type C-2, using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in Foundation, Fillings, Mass concrete, Footings etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for PCC 1:2:4, Type B-2, using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in Platforms/ Foundations etc complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Form work wherever required will be measured and seperately under respective item of this BoQ

M & L for PCC 1:2:4, Type B-1, using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in Coping, Bed blocks/ plates and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating including formwork [straight or curved] complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for PCC 1:3:6, Type C-1, using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in Coping and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating including formwork [straight or curved] complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for forming fair finished drain or channel of 30cm inner girth using extra cement including forms, moulds, mitred / stooped ends complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for RCC 1:1½:3, Type A-1, using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in foundations including rafts, footings, foundation beams, plinth beams, bases for columns etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for RCC 1:1½:3, Type A-1, using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in Columns, pillars, piers, posts and struts etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for providing Precast RCC 1:2:4, Type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in landings, cover slabs [for manholes etc], chullah hoods, chajjas, water troughs, mangers, Shelves and similar articles with plain faces set in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for brick work with Fly Ash bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 m mean radius built in Cement Mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for walling of random rubble masonry, uncoursed, well bonded, bedded and solidly hearted, built in Cement Mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

All as described in Serial Item No. 19 herein before but except Stones. Note: Stones obtained from demolition shall be re-used under this item

M & L Extra over stone walling for hammer dressing to face stones and dressing of face beds and joints, as specified, of random rubble walling,uncoursed or brought face from straight edge held against the dressed surface not exceeding 40mm complete all as specified and directed.

Use and waste of form work to sides of concrete Copings/ Platforms/ foundations, footings, bases of columns, raft and raft beams, sides and soffits [if any] of plinth beams and similar work, vertical or to batter for rough finished surfaces complete all as specified and as directed. sides of concrete

Use and removal of steel formwork to sides of pillars, posts, struts, piers, columns and stanchions of any shape / cross section for rough finished surfaces of concrete complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F Reinforcement using High Strength Corrosion Resistant Deformed TMT Bars of Grade Fe–500D of 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required including cranking, bending, spirally for hooping, hooking ends and binding with annealed mild steel wire not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips or welded complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F Reinforcement using High Strength Corrosion Resistant Deformed TMT Bars of Grade Fe–500D of 5mm to 10mm dia bars as in stirrups, spacers and binders, cut to length, bent to shape required including cranking, bending, spirally for hooping, hooking ends and binding with annealed mild steel wire not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips or welded complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F Mild Steel work confirming to Fe - 290, Grade E-165, as in framed work such as Grills, Gratings, Ladders etc with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted, or forged into spikes, framed Guard Bars, Barred Iron Doors, Ladders, framed Balusters, Walk Ways, Railings, framework of Water Tanks and similar work complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for 1.60mm thick Plain, Black Sheet, mild steel sheeting as in in wall cladding, steel gates and similar work, cut to size, holes punched including round headed screws, clout nails or rivets and fixed to wood or steel framing with plain 40 mm lap joints with riveted or welded seams, including bending or turning up, mitred angles, etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F PVC Coated Chain Link MS Galvanised Fencing Mesh of size 75 mm X 75mm, 4mm dia wire with minimum 1 mm thick PVC Coating and of weight not less than 4.5 KG / Sq.m including line wires, any mesh, size and type to any type of standards, rails, straining bolts, etc. including provision of binding wire and Dismantling existing chain link fencing mesh of any description and size complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F in repairs Galvanised, 2 Strand, Steel Barbed Wire 2.24mm dia, Barbed with 2mm dia bars at 75mm spacing and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails straining bolts including securing or tying at crossing with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or steel pins etc complete all as specified and directed. Note: Each line of wire will be measured for payment.

M & L for 100 mm thick, PCC 1:2:4, Type B-2, using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in Floors/ Hard standing etc, surface finished even and smooth with out using extra cement and spike rolling to surfaces or making impressions of expanded metal, while the concrete is green complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for 15mm thick rendering in Cement Mortar 1:4 on stone masonry surfaces or surfaces other than fair faces of brick work or on one side of lathing, finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for rendering to brick / concrete surfaces, 15 mm thick in Cement Mortar 1:4 and finishing the top surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for keyed pointing in Cement Mortar 1:3 to random rubble uncoursed or brought up to coursed masonry complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for two coats of Synthetic Enamel paint over one coat of Red Oxide / Zinc Chrome Primer on new steel surfaces over 10cm width or girth including necessary preparation of surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for two coats of Synthetic Enamel paint over one coat of primer on newly plastered or previously untreated surfaces of brick, stone, concrete etc over 10cm width or girth including necessary preparation of surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for one coat of Synthetic Enamel paint on old painted surfaces of brick, stone, concrete etc over 10cm width or girth including necessary preparation of surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces of area not exceeding 400 Sq.m and not exceeding 50 mm depth complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Glass Fibre Reinforcement Mesh/ Grid with aperture size 12.5mm x 12.5mm, width of roll not less than 1.5metres, with minimum 100 KN/M tensile strength in both directions, laid in position over a tack coat of Elastomeric Polymer Modified Bitumen[PMB(E)] - 40 conforming to IS 15462 at the rate of 0.3 to 0.4 Kg per Sqm using mechanical sprayer including necessary preparation of existing bituminous surfaces complete all as specified in Clause 503.4.3 of MORTH Specifications, as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed.

M & L for 40mm consolidated thick Bituminous Premixed Dense Asphaltic Concrete (DAC-II) using Elastomeric Polymer Modified Bitumen [PMB(E)] - 40 with 5.6% binder content by weight of total mix using Hot Mix Plant and Mechanical Paver, rolled and compacted with power road roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity to required camber and gradient complete all as per latest MORTH Specifications for Roads and Bridges and as directed. Note: Minimum Bitumen content shall be 5.6% as specified here in above. In case, if the actual quantity of bitumen to be incorporated on approval of Mix–Design is found more than the minimum bitumen content specified above, No price adjustment shall be made for actual bitumen content of Mix–Design. Bitumen shall be shall be procured by the contractor.

M & L for providing high strength two-component solvent-free Epoxy resin concrete bonding agent by brush/ roller application on existing concrete surfaces to ensure bond between old concrete and new concrete including necessary preparation of existing surfaces by cleaning and removing of any dust, unsound material, plaster, oil, paint, grease, corrosion deposits or algae, laitance and exposing the aggregates by light scrabbling or grit-blasting all as per manufacturer's instructions, as specified and as direced. Note: The works catered under this item shall be executed through the manufacturer or their authorised applicators and necessary approval from GE shall be obtained before execution of this work. M & L for providing three component self levelling elastomeric concrete as in surface corection/ patches/ joint filling in existing concrete floors/ hardstandings/ Roads, etc. all as per manufacturer's instructions, as specified and as direced. Note: The works catered under this item shall be executed through the manufacturer or their authorised applicators and necessary approval from GE shall be obtained before execution of this work. Material and lablour for crack repairs by widening the existing floor cracks by cutting 'V' shaped grooves, 0.25mm to 9mm wide to a depth not less than 20mm including preparation of surfaces by removing all foreign matter, dust and debris etc by industrial vacuum cleaner followed including filling the cut open grooves/ cracks/ joints with epoxy mortar over a coat of epoxy based primer complete all as per manufacturer's recommendations, all as specified and as directed. Note: The works catered under this item shall be executed through the manufacturer or their authorised applicators and necessary approval from GE shall be obtained before execution of this work. Material and Labour for providing a coat of two components Epoxy based primer including necessary preparation of existing concrete surfaces mechanically using grinding or sand blasting or shot blasting or scarifying including wire brushing as required and removing all foreign matter, dust and debris etc by industrial vacuum cleaner followed by thorough water wash to obtain clean and sound substrate to ensure maximum bonding between the substrate complete all as specified as directed and as per manufacturer’s instructions. Note: The works catered under this item shall be executed through the manufacturer or their authorised applicators and necessary approval from GE shall be obtained before execution of this work. Material and Labour for providing three components solventless Epoxy repair mortar screed consisting of epoxy resins and selected quartz aggregates mixed in the ratio as per manufacturer's specifications including finishing the surface to even and plain using suitable means to remove all imperfections complete all as specified as directed and as per manufacturer’s instructions. Note: The works catered under this item shall be executed through the manufacturer or their authorised applicators and necessary approval from GE shall be obtained before execution of this work. M&L for racking out old existing sealant compound and back up rod of the existing joints by special tools like cutting blades / machines, widening of joints by 2 mm by using joint cutting blades of appropriate size, straight and smooth edges. Joint cleaned thoroughly with application of compressed air. Joint shall be made dry, vacuum cleaned and free of dirt, oil, vegetation and other debris. Application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before pouring the sealant. Thereafter filled closed cell, medium density, cross linked polyethylene foam backup rod of 12mm dia for complete length of the joint, over it to be filled with polyurethane joint sealant meeting the requirement mentioned in BS-5212, BS 4254 and EN-141875-2003 with minimum movement accommodation factor MAF of +/- 30% complete all as specified and directed. Note: The works catered under this item shall be executed through the manufacturer or their authorised applicators and necessary approval from GE shall be obtained before execution of this work. M&L for racking out old existing sealant compound and back up rod of the existing joints by special tools like cutting blades / machines, widening of joints by 2 mm by using joint cutting blades of appropriate size, straight and smooth edges. Joint cleaned thoroughly with application of compressed air. Joint shall be made dry, vacuum cleaned and free of dirt, oil, vegetation and other debris. Application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before placing the filler board and pouring the sealant. Thereafter filled with pre-molded 25 mmthick compressible polyethylene closed cell type filler board as specified, over it filled with closed cell, medium density, cross linked polyethylene foam backup rod of 30mm dia for complete length of the joint. Finally filled with polyurethane joint sealant meeting the requirement mentioned in BS 5212, BS 4254 and EN-141875-2003 with minimum movement accommodation factor MAF of +/- 30% complete all as specified and directed. M & L for repairs to existing cracks in bituminous roads by groove cutting to 'V' shape to width 10 to 50mm and depth upto 50mm including necessary preparation of cut surfaces by cleaning and removing of loose and foriegn materials by compressed hot air and providing modified all weather instant bituminous crack filling paste comprising of mineral dressed, washed, dried crushed stone aggregates mixed with asphalt polymer paste with special grade of bitumen, laid and compacted with wooden mallet/ rammer and sealing the surface with one coat of polymer modified coat tar based water proof sealer coat all as per manufacturer's instructions, as specified and as direced. Note: The works catered under this item shall be executed through the manufacturer or their authorised applicators and necessary approval from GE shall be obtained before execution of this work. M & L for Preparing the existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with compressed air to remove all dirt etc. and applying evenly two coats of Cold applied Polymer Modified Emulsion [PME] by using mechanical sprayer, at the rate of Cold Liquid PME 1.00 Litre per Square Metre [undiluted], each coat diluted in the ratio 1:1 [PME : Water], ensuring uniform coverage and finish on applied area complete all as per manufacturer instructions and all as specified and as directed. Note: The works catered under this item shall be executed through the manufacturer or their authorised applicators and necessary approval from GE shall be obtained before execution of this work.

S & F in repairs Solar Road Studs [Bi-Directional] made of Aluminium Die cast matt finish of size 125 X 125 X 25mm [Approximately], working on High Efficiency Mono-Crystalline Solar Panel 2.4 V / 0.3 Watt, One Ni-Mh or NI-cd Rechargeable Battery [1.2V / 1600 MA] with Six Super Bright LEDs with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd [Millicandela], with a minimum Operating time of 3-4 consecutive days with full charge, viewing distance / visibility not less than 800m with 2 Hz Flash Rate, Self operated from Dusk to Dawn, anti twist ribs on the bottom anchor / shank with high intensity reflective grade polymer sticker and conforming to IS - 12063, of Colour yellow or red or blue or green or white as approved by GE complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F in repairs Road Stud, Two way reflective of size 100mm X 110mm X 20 mm [Approximately], ABS body with retro reflective panel of Amber, Red or White colour complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Provision of Sign board (Steel Display Board) made up of with 5mm thick ACP sheet of size 1.50 x 1.2 m printed with retro reflective print (both side) framed with stainless steel pipe and fastened with steel button fastener and framed with Tubulor Stainless steel pipes 50mm dia 4mm thickness with round cap and cross support between two poles, overall ht above and below GL 2m including earthwork, excavation, PCC 1:3:6 Type C2 in foundation, returning filling and dismantling and removing of existing unserviceable sign boards of any description and size and making good disturbed surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

De-silting of existing Covered Drains / Open Drains of any cross section in any condition [including foul condition] including removing Grits, Mud, Debris, Sludge deposits, Pebbles, Large Stones of any shape including bailing out of water by mechanical pump if required and deposited to a distance not exceeding 1.5 KM for smooth flow of water complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting Bushes like Kikar or other type thick bushes covered area and removing roots and making good the disturbed surface by filling along the sides of Runway shoulders by Mechanically using JCB and Operator and One Un-skilled labour along with Fuel, lubricants, spares and renewal of tyres/tubes as required for Eight Hours per Day including removing of bushes, roots, loose items to a distance exceeding 250m but not exceeding 500m from the site complete all as directed. Note: [a] Area shall be as decided by the Engineer-in-Charge and representative of users. [b] One JCB and Operator and One Un-skilled labour for Eight Hours per Day shall be treated as One Job. [c] Proper care shall be taken while removing the roots etc. to avoid any damage to the existing underground cables and pipelines etc. Damage if any occurs to the underground cables and pipelines, the same shall be made good immediately to match the existing and to restore the services and rate quoted is deemed to be including the same. [d] The work is required to be executed along Main/Secondary Runway. Therefore, the work shall be executed during non-flying hours either during Day or Night without causing any disturbance for flying. [e] The work is required to be executed in highly restricted area. [f] Proper safety arrangement, equipment shall be provided by the contractor for workmen. [g] The rate quoted shall be deemed to be considering all the above provisions and nothing shall be paid extra on this account.

Maintenance of Airfield Shoulders by deploying Tractor with suitable capacity Jungle Zim with Tractor Operator for cutting of grass and One Helper for sweeping grass after cutting of Grass, bushes, small plants of any type along the sides of Runway Shoulders and Airfield Areas including supply of Fuel, lubricants, spares and renewal of tyres/tubes as required for smooth operation of equipment deployed including maintenance of Tractor, Jungle Zim, insurance and license fees including removing of debris to a distance exceeding 250m but not exceeding 500m from the site complete all as directed. Note: [a] Area shall be as decided by the Engineer-in-Charge and representative of users. [b] Jungle Zim shall be made available at all times at site and the same may be increased to required numbers as per site requirement. [c] An area of 10000 Square Metres shall be treated as One Job for measurement and payment purpose irrespective of the Plant, Machinery and Manpower employed for each job. [d] The work is required to be executed along Main/Secondary Runway. Therefore, the work shall be executed during non-flying hours either during Day or Night without causing any disturbance for flying. [e] The work is required to be executed in highly restricted area. [f] Proper safety arrangement, equipment shall be provided by the contractor for workmen. [g] The rate quoted shall be deemed to be considering all the above provisions and nothing shall be paid extra on this account.

Periodic Supply of Hand held Grass cutting Machine of Make Honda or equivalent with Machine operator and one Helper for Cutting and Sweeping Grass after cutting of Grass, bushes, small plants of any type along the sides of Dispersal Area, Taxi Track, Runway, Shoulders and Airfield areas throughout the year, including supply of Fuel, lubricants, spares, renewal of blades as required including maintenance and repairs to Machine and trade insurance and license fees including removing of debris to a distance exceeding 250m but not exceeding 500m from the site complete all as directed. Note: [a] Area shall be as decided by the Engineer-in-Charge and representative of users. [b] One No. of Hand held Grass cutting Machine shall be made available at all times at site and the same may be increased to required numbers as per site requirement. [c] An area of 1000 Square Metres shall be treated as One Job for measurement and payment purpose irrespective of the Plant, Machinery and Manpower employed for each job. [d] The work is required to be executed along Main/Secondary Runway. Therefore, the work shall be executed during non-flying hours either during Day or Night without causing any disturbance for flying. [e] The work is required to be executed in highly restricted area. [f] Proper safety arrangement, equipment shall be provided by the contractor for workmen. [g] The rate quoted shall be deemed to be considering all the above provisions and nothing shall be paid extra on this account.
