Preparing existing black top surface by brushing with wire brush for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bag to remove all loose dirt complete all as specified and directed. (NSTL Residential area quantity = 770 Ten SQM and NSTL Technical area quantity = 850 Ten SQM)

All as per Sl item No. 5 above but at DRDL Kalinga.

M&L for applying evenly a tack coat with bituminous primer (paving bitumen of grade VG-10 grade bitumen) @ 5 kgs per Ten Sqm over existing black top surfaces complete all as specified and directed. (NSTL Residential area quantity = 770 Ten SQM and NSTL Technical area quantity = 850 Ten SQM)

All as per Sl item No. 7 above but at DRDL Kalinga.

M&L for bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 30mm thick consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content (paving bitumen VG-30) by weight of total mix all as per job mix formula, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete (rolling shall be done with power roller / vibrator roller complete all as specified and directed. (NSTL Residential area quantity = 770 Ten SQM and NSTL Technical area quantity = 850 Ten SQM)

M&L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc and the like n.exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed. (NSTL Residential area quantity = 225 SQM and NSTL Technical area quantity = 2230 SQM)

S&F, cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and including MS stud of suitable size as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed. (NSTL Residential area quantity = 302 Each and NSTL Technical area quantity = 95 Each)

All as per Sl item No. 13 above but at DRDL Kalinga.

M&L for moorum 75mm thickness (spread thickness) laying on road side berms rolled and consolidated to gradient complete all as specified and directed. (NSTL Residential area quantity = 38 Ten SQM and NSTL Technical area quantity = 38 Ten SQM)

Manufacturing, supplying & fixing, retro reflective mandatory / regulatory sign boards of 900mm diametre with support length of 3750mm and made up of 2mm thick aluminium sheet, face to be fully covered with high intensity encapsulated type heat activated retro reflective sheeting conforming to type IV of ASTM-D 4956-01 in blue and silver white or other colour combination including subject matter, message (bi-lingual), symbols and borders etc, as per IRC:67:2001, pasted on substrate by an adhesive backing which shall be activated by applying heat and pressure conforming to class 2 of ASTM-D-4956-01 and fixing the same with suitable sized aluminium alloy rivets @ 20cm c/c to back support frame of MS angle iron of size 25 x 25 x 3mm along with theft resistant measures, mounted and fixed with 02 Nos. MS angles of size 35 x 35 x 5mm to a vertical post made upto MS tee section ISMT 50 x 50 x 6mm welded with base plate of size 100 x 100 x 5mm at the bottom end and including making holes in pipes, angles flats, providing & fixing MS message plate of

required size, steel work to be painted with two or more coats of synthetic enamel paint to required shade and of approved brand and manufacture over priming coat of zinc chromate yellow primer (vertical MS-Tee support to be painted in black and white colours). Backside of aluminium sheet to be painted with two or more coats of epoxy paint over and including appropriate priming coat including all leads and lifts etc, complete as per drawing, specification and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Note: The drawing and specification of sign board shall be approved by AGE (I) in writing within one month from the date of commencement of work as per WO No. 01.
