[r] Provision of suitable phase reversal relays to the controller to protect lift/ equipment against phase reversal, phase failure and low voltage. [s] Provision of Intercom. [t] Continuous earthing for machine and equipment [u] Steel Wire rope of adequate size as per relevant IS and as per manufacturers specification. [v] Other standard fixtures and fittings like guide rails, sheaves, counter weights with guards, buffers, gear unit brakes, control panel, car operational panel, governor, locks, power control and trailing cables complete all as per latest IS specifications. [w] Main drives and controls shall be high efficient and low power consumption. [x] Lift design, specifications, drawings, manufacturers instructions shall be got approved from Accepting Officer before placing order for procurement. [y] The contractor shall carry third party load testing for each lift installed once in every six months till defect liability period and shall submit staisfactory test results and the rate quoted shall be deemed to be included for this provision. [z] The Contractor shall shift the old dismantled lift to MES Storeyard as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge and the rate quoted shall be deemed to included transportation charges.

Earthing complete with Galvanised Steel Earth Plate Electrode 600 X 600 X 6 mm thick burried directly in ground [earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below ground level] with top edge of Plate not less than 1.50 m below normal ground level connected to 32 X 6mm GI Strip [Earth Lead] and GI pipe 40 mm, Medium Grade for earthing lead protection to the extent of maximum 7.5m, Earth Plate Electrode surrounded by 150mm thick packed layers of Charcoal and Common Salt filled in alternate layers, connected to the Plate by means of GI Bolts & Nuts complete all as per Electrical Plate No. 3 of SSR Part – I, connected to panel / DB including testing on completion including main earthing, Charcoal, Common Salt, PCC [1:2:4, Type B1] Pit with RCC 1:2:4, Type B1 Cover, 50 mm thick with 6 Nos, 8 mm dia TMT bars in both ways, MS frame made with 40 X 40 X 6 mm Angle Iron, MS Funnel with 20 mm bore, medium grade GI Watering pipe, wire mesh, earth work excavation, return filling, removal of surplus soil etc. including taking down of existing earthing set complete all as specified.

S & F in repairs Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead made of GI Strip of size 32 X 6mm, fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or burried in ground or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation including drawing through GI Pipe for earthing etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling Existing earthing and providing new Maintenance Free Chemical Earthing complete with 40mm X 3000mm Advance Chemical Earthing Pipe with [Strip in pipe Technology] with 50 KG of Backfill Compound buried directly in ground [Rocky Soil] with earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below ground level with top edge of Plate not less than 1.50 m below normal ground level connected to existing Copper Earth Strip by means of Stainless Steel bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers all as per IS – 3043 including testing on completion complete all as specified and as directed. The earth resistance shall be measured using fall of potential method as per Para 37 of IS – 3043 & combined resistance should be less than 1 Ohms. Note: The unit rate quoted shall be deemed to include for PCC [1:2:4, Type B1] Pit with RCC 1:2:4, Type B1 Cover, 50 mm thick with 6 Nos, 8 mm dia TMT bars in both ways, MS frame made with 40 X 40 X 6 mm Angle Iron, MS handle 12mm dia, earth work excavation, return filling, removal of surplus soil etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F MCCB 415 V , 16 KA, 4 Pole, 63 Amps capacity complete all as specified and as directed.

Supplying, laying and testing XLPE insulated and PVC sheathed, FRLS, armoured heavy duty underground cable, ISI marked with aluminium stranded conductor 1100 Volt grade of size 3.5 Core, 50Sq.mm cross section suitable for earthed system, laying in trenches/duct/fixed to poles/drawn through pipes/sleeving through pipe in duct, including suitable size Double compression copper stainless steel cable gland, crimping type cable lugs, sockets etc. including taking down of existing cables complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix 100A automatic change over switch with sheet steel enclosure complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F MCCB DB, VTPN, 4 Way, 415 Volts with DIN Channel, N3 Frame, Double Door complete all as specified and as directed.

Phase - II: Schedule "A" Part – II: [Comprehensive Maintenance of Lift Works After Defect Liability Period of work under Phase – I ]:

Comprehensive Maintenance of passenger lift (26 Passenger) with collective / selective control by carrying out periodical checks, repairs including Replacement of defective spares / accessories etc. and testing as specified and as recommended by the OEM to ensure smooth, safe and efficient functioning during first year after expiry of defects liability period complete all as specified in Particular Specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

All as per description of item No. 9 but second year after expiry of defects liability period.

All as per description of item No. 9 but third year after expiry of defects liability period.

Notes for Serial Item No. 9 to 11: [a] MANPOWER TO BE EMPLOYED: The contractor shall be required to employ Minimum 01 No. of lift Mechanic with sound knowledge and adequate experience Round the Clock. All the manpower employed shall report to Office of AGE [E/M]/ Complaint Cell for day to day maintenance and efficient operation of Lifts. [b] The rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive of supply and fixing of all Major and Minor Spares viz. Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic / LED Lights etc. as and when required for trouble free, smooth and efficient functioning of lifts including overhauling as and when required to all mechanical parts of lifts, Rewinding of Electric Motors, repair/maintenance of Gear Unit, repair / maintenance of Door Drive, Controllers, Pulleys, Limit Switches, Relays etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

[c] All the safety measures including ARDs shall be ensured for serviceable condition round the clock and nothing extra shall be paid on these accounts. [d] The rate quoted shall be deemed to be inclusive of testing of each lift by Licensed Lift Inspector of Government of Andhra Pradesh twice in Contract Period for worthiness of the Lift in respect of safety. Certificate issued by the Licensed Lift Inspector shall be submitted to the Engineer-in-Charge and a copy of Certificate shall be displayed in all Lift Cabins as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. [e] Emergency Light and necessary tools shall be available in a tool box in the shift for smooth functioning of lifts. [f] Conveyance and communication system like mobile phone etc. shall be provided by the contractor to all Lift Mechanics and Helpers. [g] The contractor shall abide by the latest Labour Rules and Minimum Wages Act. [h] Wages paid by the contractor to the persons employed shall not be less than the minimum wages fixed by State / Central Government from time to time whichever is higher.

[i] The contractor is responsible for making subscription towards Insurance, EPF, ESI, Labour Welfare Cess etc., as applicable and shall pay Gratuity, Bonus etc to the Workmen as per existing Labour Rules / Acts / Regulations and rate quoted shall be deemed to be included for the same. [j] DRESS CODE: The contractor shall provide the workmen with Dark Blue Colour Uniform [Formal Pant & T-Shirt] with labels showing / printed i.e. "Name of the Firm and Designation" on Front and "GE [U - I] [V]" on the back of the T-Shirt along with protective clothing / gear. The contractor shall also provide shoes to the workers and the persons shall not be allowed to enter the work site without wearing shoes. [k] The contractor shall be responsible for all Accidents / Injuries happening to the workmen. Any accident causing Minor / Fatal Injury, Partial Disability due to any untoward incident or non-adherence to Safety and IE Regulations or fault in maintaining of Lifts System / Safety Mechanism or on account of any mishandling / wrong operation / lack of knowledge of safety precautions or on account of any circumstances beyond his/their control, the contractor shall be solely responsible for settling all claims of compensation to the deceased, failing which department will have a right to recover any sum indicated / claimed by Labour Commissioner / Court authorities. No claim whatsoever will be entertained in this regard. No compensation is payable by the department on this account. Contractor shall provide first aid boxes to meet any emergency situations. [l] The contractor shall carryout the comprehensive maintenance of the lifts catered under subject work through the Original Equipment Manufacturer of that lift or from their accredited / authorised agencies only. The lowest bidder shall submit MoU from the Original Equipment Manufacturer of the Lift or from their accredited / authorised agencies to provide technical support, trained persons for maintenance & testing and spares before commencement of the work to GE. The spares shall be of the make as per existing or as per the OEM.
