Notes:
[i] The underlay shall achieve compressive strength of 84 N/mm2, tensile strength 16 N/ mm2 , flexural strength 21 N/ mm2 conforming to BS 6319 and water absorption shall be NIL conforming to BS 1881.
[ii] The Underlay shall be allowed to cure for 18-48 hours at 20°C before applying top coat.
[iii] If the Underlay is allowed to cure more than 48 hours, then the underlay shall be thoroughly abraded and a fresh underlay shall be laid again without any extra cost to the department.
