M&L for cleaning the existing rusted reinforcement bars with wire brush/rotary wire brush to make surface free from rust scales, loose material, dirt, etc. including providing and applying two coats of alkaline rust converting primer [Maxcure RR of THERMAX or equivalent chemical in makes specified herein after in Particular Specifications] with brush and complete wetting of rusted metal surface and allowed to react for 16-24 hours to form a protective white layer which will protect further corrosion of metal / steel for about 5-7 days complete all as per manufacturer's instructions, as specified and as directed.

M&L for corrosion resistant, non shrinkable, rheoplastic, high strength cementitious micro concrete [BS 66 MuCis of THERMAX or equivalent chemical in makes specified herein after in Particular Specifications] provided where the thickness required is 50mm and above and 40% cross-section area of structure is under distress, with addition of 10mm down aggregates of 25% of the weight of mix ready to use powder with water- powder ratio of 0.18, mixed and applied on RCC members such as Beams/ Slabs/ Chajjas/ Facias etc. including filling convoluted voids, with to achive compressive strength 20 N/ mm2 in one day and 65 N/mm2 @ 28 days, Tensile strength 2.0 N/mm2 @ 28 days, Flextural strength 10N/sqmm @ 28 days as per BS 4551, Young's modulus - 25 KN/mm2 as per ASTM D 469 complete all as per manufacturer's instructions, as specified and as directed.

M&L for cutting “V” groove along the existing cracks on RCC walls/ ceilings/ columns/ beams/ floor/ bricks to a size not less than 10mm wide and 30mm deep or upto the extent of crack using electricity operated angle grinder with diamond concrete saw blade and cleaning the cut surfaces by air blower including sealing the cut portion with solvent free, three component compound, Epoxy resin based putty, based on epoxy resins, graded fillers and thixotropic agents with adjustable consistency [Maxtreat EPG of Thermax or equivalent chemical in makes specified herein after in Particular Specifications ], mixed and applied/ filled directly into cracks, blow holes, etc. complete all as per manufacturer's instructions, as specified and as directed.

M&L for water proofing treatment to existing damaged sunken floor surfaces by drilling Holes of 20mm dia up to 75 mm deep in reinforced cement concrete structural members at an interval of not more than 500 mm c/c in staggered manner or along the crack lines including cleaning of the holes by air blower and inserting PVC nozzles with fast setting mortar and covering with renderoc plug to ensure complete sealing and allowed for curing for minimum 8 Hrs before Grouting including injection grouting with hydrogen free expanding and plasticising additive [Maxgrout 100 of Thermax/ or equivalent chemical in makes specified herein after in Particular Specifications] including removing the nozzle projections, excess putty, if any, over concrete members and grinding, leveling and finishing the external surfaces after completion of the work etc. complete all as per manufacturer's instructructions, as specified and as directed.

M&L for providing 20 mm thick single component chloride free thixotropic fibre reinforced polymer modified repair mortar with alkali resistant synthetic fibres [BS 5F of Thermax / ] having specific gravity of 1.025 to 1.04, minimum 43% solid contents as per BS 6319 applied on RCC surfaces like Beam/ column, slab, etc. in any position with flexural strength of 7 N/mm2 @ 7 days meeting as per ASTM C 348 , tensile strength @ 7days 3 N/mm2 as per ASTM C 307, compressive strength of 45 Mpa @ 28 days, Adhesion bond strength 2 N/mm2, Creep Strain Reduction - 10% including necessary mixing of cement and sand for achieving required finish complete all as per manufacturer's instructructions, as specified and as directed.

M&L for providing 10 mm thick single component chloride free thixotropic fibre reinforced polymer modified repair mortar with alkali resistant synthetic fibres [BS 5F of Thermax or equivalent chemical in makes specified herein after in Particular Specifications] having specific gravity of 1.025 to 1.04, minimum 43% solid contents as per BS 6319 applied on RCC surfaces like Beam/ column, slab, etc. in any position with flexural strength of 7 N/mm2 @ 7 days meeting as per ASTM C 348 , tensile strength @ 7days 3 N/mm2 as per ASTM C 307, compressive strength of 45 Mpa @ 28 days, Adhesion bond strength 2 N/mm2, Creep Strain Reduction - 10% including necessary mixing of cement and sand for achieving required finish complete all as per manufacturer's instructructions, as specified and as directed.

M&L for treating the existing pipe penetrations using free flowing, high strength, non-shrink, cementitious precision grout [Maxgrout 60 of Thermax Ltd. or equivalent chemical in makes specified herein after in Particular Specifications] with blend of Portland cement, graded fillers and chemical additives which impart controlled expansion in the plastic statemixed and applied to achieve compressive strength of 60 N/mm2 at 28 days, flexural strength of 9 N/mm2 @ 28 days, pullout bond strength of 15 N/mm 2 @ 28 days, fresh wet density of the mixed grout 2225 kg/m3, young's modulus of 28 kN/mm2, including flashing the area using solvent based UV resistant polyurethane based waterproofing material having minimum tensile strength on 4 N/mm2 and minimum elongation of 800% complete all as per manufacturer's instructructions, as specified and as directed.

NOTES FOR SERIAL ITEM No. 01 TO 10: [a] The rate quoted for respective items shall be deemed to be inclusive of all material, labour, expert supervision, Tools, Plant, Safety measures like safety belts, ropes, helmets, netting etc. required to work upto G+ 12 floor height as per site requirement and providing double scaffolding and as required and removal of the same on completion of the repairs and disposal and depositing the demolished material outside MD land complete all as specified and as directed. [b] The Structural repair works shall be got executed directly by the Manufacturer or through their authorised applicator. The contractor shall obtain a written guarantee for the effectiveness of the structural repairs carried out to the Buildings from the manufacturer and shall be submitted to GE for record before claiming payment. The manufacturer shall also certify that the structural repairs to the Buildings have been carried out as per the standard engineering practices and also certify the strength and serviceability of the Buildings. [c] The rates quoted shall be deemed to include all necessary form work required for providing concrete/ mortar for rebuilding the damaged RCC members.

M & L for Roughening surfaces of old concrete floor by picking, sweeping clean and washing down with water to remove dust etc and brushing neat cement slurry with 3.0 KG of cement per Sq.m area, rendering 10mm thick in cement mortar 1:3 on concrete surfaces finished even and smooth without using extra cement including mixing of water proofing compound of approved make as per manufacturers instructions for levelling the surface smooth to receive the water proofing membrane, priming the surface with a coat of cold applied bituminous primer @ 0.50 KG per Sq.m, applying a coat of Blown Bitumen of grade 85/25 @ 1.2 Kg per Sq.m, laying Polymeric water proofing membrane of weight not less than 3.00 Kg per Sq.m reinforced with polyester non-woven fabric of weight not less than 150 Grams per Sq.m, by torch application with side over lap of 100mm & end over lap of 150mm & tucked into the chases on vertical surfaces by thermo fusion including applying a coat of Blown Bitumen of grade 85/25 @ 1.2 Kg per Sq.m on top and finished with a coat of bituminous aluminium paint @ 100 grams per Sq.m on top for water proofing treatment complete including taking down existing Roof Treatment of any description and removing rubbish to a distance exceeding 1.5 KM but not exceeding 5.0 KM complete all as per manufacturer's instructructions, as specified and as directed. Note: Water proofing compound will be measured and paid separately.

Demolition of Plain Cement Concrete in ground floors and Pavings not exceeding 15cm thick [below or above ground level] and removing rubbish to a distance exceeding 1.5 KM and not exceeding 5.00 KM complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for 75mm thick PCC 1:3:6, Type C-1, using 20mm graded aggregate as in Plinth protection etc surface finished even and smooth with out using extra cement and providing 12mm thick joints for full depth of PCC at every 3.00 m and every change of direction duly filled with mastic filling comprising of 01 Part of heated bitumen blown grade of any penetration and 3 parts of sand [all by weight] complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Plain / Reinforced cement concrete Type B1 [Nominal Mix] 1:2:4 using 20mm graded stone aggregate in lintels,bands etc up to 1.5m span, cills, steps, seismic and other similar bands, plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating as directed including use and waste of form work, complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of Reinforced Cement Concrete as in Roof, Floors [other than ground floor], beams, staircase, landing, Chajjas and similar suspended work including reinforcement cut as required to facilitate demolition and removing rubbish to a distance exceeding 1.5 KM but not exceeding 5.0 KM complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for providing Precast RCC 1:2:4, Type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in landings, cover slabs [for manholes etc], chullah hoods, chajjas, water troughs, mangers, Shelves and similar articles with plain faces set in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of Brick / Stone Masonry built in Cement Mortar including all quoins arches pillars etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for brick work in half brick thick walls using Fly Ash bricks straight or curved on plan to any radius built in Cement Mortar 1:4 including provision of 2 Nos of 8mm dia bars at every fourth course of brick work complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for brick work with Fly Ash bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 m mean radius built in Cement Mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of Mild Steel or Wrought Iron Work of any description not otherwise provided for complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down Cement Plaster of any description on brick or stone walls or concrete surfaces etc including raking out joints, hacking for key scrubbing down with water etc and removing rubbish to a distance not exceeding 1.5 KM complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for rendering to Stone masonry surfaces/ other than fair faces of brick work, 15 mm thick in Cement Mortar 1:6 and finishing the top surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for rendering to brick / concrete surfaces, 15 mm thick in Cement Mortar 1:4, mixed with approved integral water proofing compound as per manufacturers instructions and finishing the surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Water proofing compound will be measured and paid separately.

M&L for Factory made Single Piece Monolithic casted Fibre glass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) Chajjas, 4mm thick, approved colour, manufactured using unsaturated polyster resin as per IS : 6746, duly reinforced with fibre glass Chopped Stand Mat (CSM) as per IS 11551 with protective Gel coat U/V coating on top for complete resistance from the extreme temperature, weather & sunlight, size and design made by Resin Transfer Moulding (RTM) Technology with void free compact laminate finish having smooth gradual slope curvature for easy drainage of water and duly reinforced with 50x2 mm thick MS flats at edges with 12mm in-built hole for Grouting on the existing wall along with the 50mm flanges duly inserted and sealed in the wall including all necessary fittings complete all as specified and as directed. Notes: [a] The FRP chajjas shall be fixed to external walls upto 12th floor [b] The plan area of chajjas shall only be measured and paid.

Use and removal of steel formwork to sides and soffits of floor or roof beams, beam launchings, girders, bressummers, lintels, cantilevers, shelves including supports, overhangs, etc, splays between floors and beams and similar works for fair finished surfaces of concrete complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F Reinforcement using High Strength Corrosion Resistant Deformed TMT Bars of Grade Fe–500D of 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required including cranking, bending, spirally for hooping, hooking ends and binding with annealed mild steel wire not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips or welded complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F Reinforcement using High Strength Corrosion Resistant Deformed TMT Bars of Grade Fe–500D of 6mm to 8mm dia, cut to length, bent to shape required including cranking, bending, spirally for hooping, hooking ends and binding with annealed mild steel wire not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips or welded complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F Mild Steel work confirming to Fe - 290, Grade E-165, as in framed work such as Grills, Gratings, Ladders etc with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted, or forged into spikes, framed Guard Bars, Barred Iron Doors, Ladders, framed Balusters, Walk Ways, Railings, framework of Water Tanks and similar work complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for welded MS wire mesh of size 50mmX50mm of 2.6mm dia, provided on the prepared surface, fixed with tinned tacks or securing with clips or welded to steel members, etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Running Welding in repairs including preparation of surfaces to be welded and thickness of metal welded exceeding 6mm and not exceeding 9mm complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Running Welding in repairs including preparation of surfaces to be welded and thickness of metal welded exceeding 9mm and not exceeding 20mm complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only Liquid water proofing compound [ISI marked] of approved make.

M & L for preparing newly plastered ceiling surfaces and applying three coats of white washing complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for One coat of white wash on old decorated surfaces of internal wall including necessary preparation by brooming down or steel wire brushing complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Complete removal of existing treatment of any description on wall surfaces by using vaccume based sanding machine, removal of nails and applying two coats of Acrylic Washable Distemper by using auto roller/ airless sprayer over one coat of alkali resistant primer on wall surfaces over 1mm thick Cement based Wall Care Putty on walls by using multipurpose mixture for proper mixing of putty and putty sprayer for application of putty including rubbing with sand paper to obtain a smooth surface and making good any undulations on the surfaces complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- The contractor shall carryout Distempering & allied works under subject work through the Authorised Applicator of the manufacturer only. The lowest bidder shall submit MoU from manufacturer to provide technical support and trained persons for carrying out Distempering & allied works through their authorised applicators before commencement of the work to GE for approval.

M & L for preparing newly plastered wall surfaces by using vaccume based sanding machine and applying two coats of Acrylic washable Distemper by using auto roller/airless sprayer, over a coat of alkali resistant primer on ceiling over 1mm thick Cement based Wall Care Putty on walls by using multipurpose mixture for proper mixing of putty and putty sprayer for application of putty including rubbing with sand paper to obtain a smooth surface and making good any undulations on the surfaces complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- The contractor shall carryout Distempering & allied works under subject work through the Authorised Applicator of the manufacturer only. The lowest bidder shall submit MoU from manufacturer to provide technical support and trained persons for carrying out Distempering & allied works through their authorised applicators before commencement of the work to GE for approval.

M & L for One coat of Weather Proof Exterior Emulsion Paint [100% Acrylic] by using auto roller/ airless sprayer on old painted Walls/ ceilings, pillasters, bands, borders, soffits of chajjas and projections including necessary preparation of surfaces by using vaccume based sanding machine complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- The contractor shall carryout Weather proof Exterior Emulsion Painting under subject work through the Authorised Applicator of the manufacturer only. The lowest bidder shall submit MoU from manufacturer to provide technical support and trained persons for carrying out Weather proof Exterior Emulsion Painting through their authorised applicators before commencement of the work to GE for approval.

M & L for Complete removal of existing treatment of any description on walls surfaces by using vaccume based sanding machine, removal of nails including rubbing with sand paper to obtain a smooth surfaces and applying Two coats of Weather Proof Exterior Emulsion Paint [100% Acrylic] by using auto roller/ airless sprayer over a Coat of Weather Proof Exterior Primer of same manufacturer as that of paint on walls complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- The contractor shall carryout Weather proof Exterior Emulsion Painting under subject work through the Authorised Applicator of the manufacturer only. The lowest bidder shall submit MoU from manufacturer to provide technical support and trained persons for carrying out Weather proof Exterior Emulsion Painting through their authorised applicators before commencement of the work to GE for approval.

M & L for Two coats of Weather Proof Exterior Emulsion Paint [100% Acrylic] over a coat of Alkali Resistant Primer by using auto roller/ airless sprayer on newly plastered Walls/ ceilings, pillasters, bands, borders, soffits of chajjas and projections including necessary preparation of surfaces by using vaccume based sanding machine complete all as specified and as directed. Note: The contractor shall carryout Weather proof Exterior Emulsion Painting under subject work through the Authorised Applicator of the manufacturer only. The lowest bidder shall submit MoU from manufacturer to provide technical support and trained persons for carrying out Weather proof Exterior Emulsion Painting through their authorised applicators before commencement of the work to GE for approval.

M & L for One coat of synthetic enamel paint on old painted wooden surfaces of any description not other wise described over 10 cm width or girth incuding necessary preparation of surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for two coats of Synthetic Enamel paint over one coat of Red Oxide / Zinc Chrome Primer on new steel surfaces over 10cm width or girth including preparation of surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for removing Plants with roots by chipping Walls / Beams / Junctions of Vertical Stacks / Water Supply lines or at any other location as directed, applying recommended chemical to prevent growth or plants and making good the disturbed portion with Cement Mortar 1:3 or with PCC 1:2:4, Type B0 [using 12.5 mm graded aggregate] and painting the surfaces to match with existing treatment / finishes and removing debris to a distance exceeding 1.50 KM but not exceeding 5.00 KM complete all as directed.

Taking down Eaves Gutters /SWR Pipes [any size or pattern], including all fittings, heads, shoes, bends, swan-necks, etc. from any height complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F 110mm bore UPVC [SWR] pipes single socketed, in any length with rubber ring/ solvent cement joints, fixed to walls in any position with necessary brackets, clamps, bolts, nuts, etc., complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F 110 mm bore PVC [SWR] bends, any radius with access door including jointing with solvent cement complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F 20mm outer dia of pipe, 3–layer PP–R Polypropylene random copolymer] concealed pipes of SDR 7.4 [PN–16] UV stabilised and anti microbial fusion welded having thermal stability for hot & cold water supply including all PP-R plain & brass threaded polypropylene random fittings complete to walls, ceilings or in floors etc. including testing including taking down of existing unserviceable GI pipes and connections of any description complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F 25mm outer dia of pipe, 3–layer PP–R Polypropylene random copolymer] concealed pipes of SDR 7.4 [PN–16] UV stabilised and anti microbial fusion welded having thermal stability for hot & cold water supply including all PP-R plain & brass threaded polypropylene random fittings complete to walls, ceilings or in floors etc. including testing including taking down of existing unserviceable GI pipes and connections of any description complete all as specified and as directed.
