Schedule "A" Part - XIV: [Miscellaneous Items] [Internal Water Supply, Internal Electrification, External Water Supply, External Electrification, Lightning Protection, Fire Detection and Fire alarm System and Air Conditioning]: [To be quoted by the bidder.]

M&L for Point wiring with 1.5 Sq.mm FRLSH PVC insulated unsheathed copper conductor cable, single core multi stranded 1100Volt grade confirming to IS 694: 1977, drawn in and including rigid PVC conduit not less than 20mm bore, concealed type, medium grade as per IS 9537 (Part 1-1983) with conduit accessories, junction boxes, tees, terminal boxes with and including factory made MS boxes, modular cover plates with frame for mounting modular switches, including one run of 1.5 Sq.mm single core FRLS PVC unsheathed copper conductor cable as earth continuity conductor and connected to common earth dolly, for one light / fan point controlled by one one way switch, complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Cutting chases and making good surfaces shall be included in the unit rate.

Description all as per Serial Item No. 15 here-in-before but with 4.0Sqmm copper conductor cable and 4.0Sqmm cable as earth continuity conductor for 3 pin 5/15Amp switch socket point, on independent board, complete all as specified.

S&F Modular type Data socket white glossy RJ 45 and RJ 11 Port with suitable gang box and face, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60cm X 60cm X 6mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metres below normal ground level, connected to galvanised earth lead 4mm GI wire by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No.3 of SSR Part-I, including excavation / earth work in any strata, adequate quantity of charcoal and common salt, PCC chamber with with RCC 1:2:4 type B1 40mm thick cover slab with suitable handle and angle iron frame of suitable size to fix the cover, with 20mm bore GI pipe light grade for watering with funnel, wire mesh and 15mm bore GI pipe medium grade for GI wire protection and 4mm GI earth wire, including testing after completion, complete all as specified and directed. Note : Earth wire will be measured after 7.5mtr from the earth strip or earth testing terminal block whichever is lesser under relevant item.

All as per Serial Item No. 18 here in before but using galvanised iron strip 32 x 6mm earthing lead and 50mm bore GI pipe medium grade as protection pipe. .

Supply, laying, testing and commissioning of LT XLPE insulated, screened with extruded PVC inner sheathed, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip armoured electric FR power cable [heavy duty] of size 4core x 10Sqmm, suitable for earthed system with stranded copper conductor, 1100 volts grade, with and including cable glands, ferrules and connected accessories, laid in trenches or ducts or through the pipe etc., complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per Serial Item No. 20 here-in-before but for cable of size 10core x 2.50Sqmm.

Note: One run of cable and one run of conduit shall be measured as one unit.

M&L for Valve chamber of size 1500mm x 1500mm x 1200mm internal dimensions, with and including excavation in any type of soil, spreading, levelling and refilling etc. PCC (1:4:8) type D2 for foundation, Fly ash brick work of one brick thick wall in CM (1:4) including internal plaster 15mm thick in CM (1:4) external plaster 15mm thick(1:4) upto 150mm below GL and providing coping in PCC (1;2:4) type B1, angular iron frame of size 50x50x6mm with 6mm thick MS plate cover complete including locking arrangements and having FRP coating of 2mm thick on both inside and outside surfaces, complete all as specified and shown in TD drawing.

Supply, laying, testing and commissioning of Ductile Iron pressure pipe of 100mm bore with socket and spigot ends with blast furnace sludge cement with Portland cement properties suitable for push -on-jointing with inside cement mortor lining with internal metallic zinc coating and external black bitumen coating duly ISI marked, confirming to IS-8329:2000, class K-9, PN-10 rating, laid in trenches / floor, complete all as specified and as directed. Note: 1. Necessary earth work will be measured and paid separately. 2. Necessary fittings will be measured and paid separately.

Supply, laying, testing and commissioning of Ductile Iron pressure pipe of 80mm bore with socket and spigot ends with blast furnace sludge cement with Portland cement properties suitable for push -on-jointing with inside cement mortor lining with internal metallic zinc coating and external black bitumen coating duly ISI marked, confirming to IS-8329:2000, class K-9, PN-10 rating, laid in trenches / floor, complete all as specified and as directed. M&L for Cutting & Chipping of laitance concrete in piles above cut off level upto a maximum of 1m from cut off level and disposal to distance of 10KM and depositing where directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Drilling or boring for 450mm nominal dia. bored cast-in-situ piles through any or all types of strata i.e soft/loose soil, stiff clay, gravel, cobble stone, compact moorum, soft conglomerate or loose boulders, disintegrated rock, weathered rocks/rocks etc., (except hard rock for socketing depth) upto top of socketing depth/founding depth by adopting suitable method with perennial water and disposal of drilling/bored materials outside MD land as directed, complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per Serial Item No. 38 here in before but for 450mm nominal dia through hard rock for founding depth minimum 2D (Where D is dia of pile), complete all as specified. Notes for Item Nos. 38 & 39:- (i) The depth of boring for piles shall be measured from existing ground level to the approved founding level. (ii) It shall be ensured that the waste bentonite slurry/ drilled or bored material is pumped off from the premises to locations shown by GE to contractor at his own cost. (iii) All channels/tanks made for bentonite circulations shall be filled with approved moorum obtained by contractor at his cost after clearing all bentonite cakes. (iv) The contractor may use any approved method as approved by GE for boring without any extra cost to the Govt. The rates for boring of piles shall be inclusive of any method/ casing that may be used by the contractor for bored piles. Nothing extra shall be paid. (v) For the purpose of payment of boring/drilling, description of hard rock shall be as given in SSR Part-I specification. (vi) The rate quoted by the contractor shall be inclusive of the rates for the shifting and setting up of piling rig as many times as required.

Carrying out routine load test on 450mm dia pile (working pile) as per standard procedure given in IS-2911 (Part IV) by high strain dynamic load with compressive strength, including construction of test cap, dismantling the cap after the test and clearing the site and maintaining complete records of load settlements etc and submission of reports for 1.5 times of the design load, complete all as specified and as directed.

Carrying out initial load tests on test pile of 450mm dia as per standard procedure laid down in IS-2911 by static load test method with compressive strength, including construction of test cap, dismantling the cap after the test and clearing the site and maintaining complete records of load settlements etc. as specified and as directed by GE and submission of reports for 2.5 times of the design load in non-working areas in the vicinity of site, including the cost of new piles with specification as same as working pile with minimum depth of socketing into the hard rock 2D (Where D is dia of pile) depth, complete all as specified. Note: Load rquired for testing as per IS shall be arranged by the contractor and test pile shall be abondoned after testing.
