Note : (i) Contractor shall submit design and drawings of whole structural glazing dully vetted from IIT/NIT/ Govt Engineering Collage and get approval of the accepting officer before commencement of the work at site. Design and drawing cost shall deemed to be included in quoted rate and nothing extra shall be paid in this account. The detailed design and shop drawings shall be as per BIS code for required wind pressure as per IS: 875 (Part-III) and shall consider for thermal movements, air inflation, water penetration, seismic movement & structural movement
(ii) This item includes cost of fabrication and installation of aluminium grid, installation of glazed units, T&P, scaffolding and other incidental charges including wastages, temporary structures, cranes or cradles etc. (iii) MS brackets & anchor fasteners, SS nut, bolts shall not be paid separately. (iv) The work shall be executed through a specialist firm having experience of handling similar nature of work. Before execution of work contractor shall submit experience related document of the firm for approval of the AO. Contractor shall also submit MOU with approved firm before execution of work at site for approval of AO.
