Schedule "A" Part -IX: [Miscellaneous Items] [ Pile foundation,Internal Electrification, lightning protection, and Sewage disposal]: [To be quoted by the bidder.]

Material and labour for drilling or boring for 500 mm nominal dia, bored cast-in-situ piles, through any or all types of strata i.e soft/loose, silt clay, gravel,cobble, cobble stone, compact moorum, soft conglomerate or loose boulders, disintigrated rock, weathered rocks etc (except hard rock for founding depth) up to top of socketing depth/founding depth by adopting suitable method in both land/river with perennial water and disposal of drilled /bored material to a distance exceeding 1.5Km and not exc 5 Km and depositing where directed complete all as spd and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes :- (i) The depth of boring for piles shall be measured from existing ground/sea bed level/river bed top (as per soundings/reduced levels taken at the commencement of work) to the approved founding level. (ii) It shall be ensured that the waste bentonite slurry/ drilled or bored material is pumped off from the premises to locations shown by GE by contractor at his own cost. The distance mentioned in description of item shall be the shortest distance from the centre of the building. (iii) All channels/tanks made for bentonite circulations shall be filled with approved moorum obtained by contractor at his cost after clearing all bentonite cakes. (iv) The contractor may use any approved method as approved by GE for boring without any extra cost to the Govt. The rates for boring of piles shall be inclusive of any method/ casing that may be used by the contractor for bored piles. Nothing extra shall be paid. (v) The rates quoted by the contractor shall be inclusive of the rates for the shifting and setting up of piling rig as many times as required.

Carrying out initial load tests on test piles as per standard procedure laid down in IS-2911-2010 including compressive strength including constsruction of test cap, dismantling the cap after the test and clearing the site and maintaining complete records of load settlements etc as specified and directed by GE and submission of reports for 2.50 times the design load specified in drawings in non-working areas in the vicinity , including the cost of new piles for 500 mm dia piles with specification as same as working pile with minimum depth of socketing into the hard rock is 2D(D is athe dia of pile) etc complete all as specifdied and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Carrying out routine load test(working pile) as per standard procedure given in IS-2911 (Part IV) 1985 for 500 mm dia piles complete all as spd and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.. The piles shall be selected by GE. Note:- The pile shall be selected by the GE. The method of testing adopted by the contractor shall be as approved by Accepting Officer.

Cutting/ chipping of laitance of piles above cut off level upto a maximum of 1 m from cut off level and deposal to a distance exceeding 50 mtr but not exe 250 mtr complete all as specified and as directed by the Engaineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Soakage wells excavation, in any type of soil, foundation in PCC 1:3:6, walls of honey combed masonry with top ring of M25 concrete including intercepting chamber and screen chamber made of Brick masonary in CM, RCC cover slab in M25/ SFRC cover, interconnecting pipes of RCC/DWC complete filled with brick bats of size and complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-charge

M/L for RCC hume pipe septic tank for 10 users capacity, foundation in PCC 1:2:4, bricks work in CM 1:4 RCC slab covers incl RCC pre-cast manhole cover having 6mm plate embedded all around / fibre reinforced cover with angle iron frame vent shaft and sludge chamber etc, complete all as specified and as shown on drawing

M&L for Reinforced Ready Mixed Cement Concrete M–40 Design Mix with admixture Conplast SP-435 A2 or Auramix 400 or equivalent, as in Piles, including necessary dewatering, formwork, concrete mixed in RMC plant, transporting, placing, compacting, vibrating etc., complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes: (i) Design mix shall be as per IS-456-2000, max size of aggregate shall not exceed 20mm and the slump shall be 150 to 180mm. (ii) Reinforcement shall be measured and paid separately. (iii) Unit rate shall be deemed to include interalia for preliminary design mix, works test cubes as specified. (iv) Minimum cement content shall be 400 Kg/ Cu.m. of concrete for M40 (Piles) using PSC with minimum slag content of 50% (fifty percent) (v) Admixture shall be added as per manufacturer instructions. The rate for Admixture shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(vi) The unit rate shall be deemed to include for carrying out non-destructive integrity test for 100% of the total number of piles as per IS 14893-2001 shall be done by Govt Engineering College / NIT/IIT in the presence of contractor and the test results shall be vetted by the same authorities. Cost of testing is included in the quoted rates. (vii) In case at the time of mix design cement content is increased beyond minimum content given above, no extra payment will be made, if cement content is decreased beyond minimum content, necessary minimum DO shall be initiated. (viii) Standard manufactured cover blocks as per IS should be used, Site cast cover blocks shall not be used. (ix) Pile shall be casted as mentioned in drawings. However, for payment purpose the length of pile shall be measured up to cut off level only. The unit rate/Lumpsum price quoted shall be deemed to include this aspect. (x) Core sample testing shall be carried out as directed GE upto 5% of piles.

M&L for Point wiring with 1.5 Sq.mm FRLSH PVC insulated unsheathed copper conductor cable, single core multi stranded 1100Volt grade confirming to IS 694: 1977, drawn in and including rigid PVC conduit not less than 20mm bore, concealed type, medium grade as per IS 9537 (Part 1-1983) with conduit accessories, junction boxes, tees, terminal boxes with and including factory made MS boxes, modular cover plates with frame for mounting modular switches, including one run of 1.5 Sq.mm single core FRLS PVC unsheathed copper conductor cable as earth continuity conductor and connected to common earth dolly, for one light / fan point controlled by one one way switch, complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Cutting chases and making good surfaces shall be included in the unit rate.

Description all as per Serial Item No. 9.08 here-in-before but socket outlet 2 in 1, 5Amp on same board, complete all as specified and as directed.

Description all as per Serial Item No. 9.01 here-in-before but but with two runs of 2.5 Sqmm PVC FRLSH insulated unsheathed cable with copper conductor including 2.5 Sqmm one single core PVC unsheathed cable with multi stranded copper conductor as earth continuity conductor and connected to common earth dolly for for one 5 pin 15 Amps switch socket.complete all as specified and as directed.

Description all as per Serial Item No.9.01 here-in-before but but one light point controlled by two two way switches.complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60cm X 60cm X 6mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metres below normal ground level, connected to galvanised earth lead 4mm GI wire by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No.3 of SSR Part-I, including excavation / earth work in any strata, adequate quantity of charcoal and common salt, PCC chamber with with RCC 1:2:4 type B1 40mm thick cover slab with suitable handle and angle iron frame of suitable size to fix the cover, with 20mm bore GI pipe light grade for watering with funnel, wire mesh and 25 mm bore GI pipe medium grade for GI wire protection and 4mm GI earth wire, including testing after completion, complete all as specified and directed. M & L for sub main wiring 2 runs of single core 6 Sqmm for main wire and 01 RUN of single core 6.0 Sqmm as earth wire of standard copper conductor FRLS PVC insulated unsheathed cables confirming to IS : 694 drawn through and including concealed in wall/wooden panelling rigid medium duty unplasticised PVC conduit confirming to IS : 9537 (part- 3) and ISI mark not less than 25mm dia and accesssories all confriming to IS specifications complete all as specified and directed. Note: Two runs of main wire, one RUN of earth wire and PVC conduit shall be measured as one run.
