Providing and constructing 100/150/200/230mm (or as directed) thick masonry at all elevations with approved quality Fly ash/ FAL-G bricks having minimum crushing strength 60 Kgs/Sq.cm, water absorption of maximum 20% and Maximum Drying shrinkage 0.15. Masonry work with cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 river sand/ crushed stone sand) uniformly mixed in machine with approved 'non-shrinking compound' as per manufacturer’s instruction in specified courses of approved bond also providing horizonatal RCC band of 100/150/200mm x 100 mm (or as directed) at about 1.00 m c/c with 2 nos. 8 mm dia Tor bars and 8 mm dia links at 300 mm c/c in cement concrete (1:2:4), required formwork, complete including pointing, raking out joints, curing, cleaning, including independent double legged scaffolding, at all heights, depths and leads, dewatering area where required etc., all as per typical drawings, Technical specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: reinforcement steel alone shall be measured under relavant item. Cost of concrete and shuttering for RCC band is included in the rate quoted from this item.

General Notes for Reinforcement steel: 1) 1.2mm dia annealed GI coated binding wire required for the work will have to be supplied by the contractor at their own cost and will not be measured for payment. 2) Fe-500D / Fe-550D bars as per IS to be supplied by the contractor 3) Reinforcement bars from conversion agents / re-rollers of above manufacturers, will not be accepted. 4) No extra payment will be made on account of Rolling Margin & wastage. 5) Contractor shall supply copy of the documentry evidence of purchase of steel, test certificate from these manufacturers and also test from third party to be carried out at no extra cost.

Super Structure

Providing Structural steel Up to and including 300 mm Joists, 350 mm channels, and below sections using angles, channels, joists, plates and other sections, welded and / or bolted including in built up sections for columns, beams, trusses, structural steel floors, frame works, monorails and other structures including supplying, cutting, drilling, welding, fabricating, hoisting, fixing in position, applying a priming coat of zinc chromate steel primer etc., complete all as per drawings and Technical specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. All test reports to be provided along with the supply of the materials.

Super Structure

Providing and fixing of 2ply-4spike GI-barbed wire of Size Designation 3 as per IS 278:2009 (having line wire diameter of 2.5mm, point wire diameter of 2mm and mass of more than 108g/m) and Galvanisation of barbed wire shall be as per IS 4826/IS12753. Cost including necessary clamping, tying, tensioning, all leads and labour charges, etc. at all levels as per drawing and as director by the engineer in charge.

General Notes for centering, shuttering & Form work: 1) This item is applicable for all PCC and RCC structural elements like footings, beams, columns, slabs, lintels, chajjas, walls,roads etc., for all heights and leads. 2) Only steel scaffolding, staging, supporting system to the formwork and steel frame work will have to be used for all RCC structural elements. 3) All surfaces adjacent to EPs, etc., shall be in true line and level & irregularities, if any, shall be rounded by mechanical grinding, chiseling, finishing the same using epoxy silica sand mortar at no extra payment. 4) The design and drawings of formwork shall be submitted alongwith calculations for approval before commencement of work. 5) Form finish F3 shall be provided to all exposed surfaces of the concrete. 6) Wall ties passing through the walls will not be allowed.

General Notes for flyash bricks: In the fly ash bricks the mix confirming to the strength mentioned in the respective items shall be got approved by the department. The mix shall consist of ordinary portland cement content of not less than 20%(preferably) of the mixture consisting of Fly ash, OPC and Gypsum or any variation in proportion of design mix shall be submitted to BARC for approval. The Anhydraous Gypsum, Fly Ash, Cement, Crusher dust and other materials shall confirm to the relevant IS codes. The Anhydrous Gypsum shall be procured from a reputed source approved by the department. Roller mixer shall be used for good homogeneous mixing. a) Reinforcement will be measured & paid for separately under relevant item. b) RCC band and formwork shall not be measured seperatly, however no deductions will be made in brickwork for the same. c) No holes in brickwall will be allowed for scaffolding. Only double tubular steel scaffolding be allowed.

Galvanizing minimum 90 micron thick galvanised coating on structural steel work including all charges etc. as directed by the Engineer-in-charge

General Notes: 1) Rates to be quoted by the bidders should be exclusive of GST for all the items but inclusive of all other taxes, duties, CESS, fee, royalty charges etc. levied under any statue for all the items. 2) Only sieved river sand/crushed stone sand confirming to Zone-II from Godavari river or Varaha river or Vamsadhara river or Sarada river or Nagavali river / Crushed stone sand shall be used as fine aggregate and Graded hard broken granite metal of 3 stage (VSI) material shall be used as coarse aggregate in relevant items. Specification for fine and coarse aggregate shall confirm to IS:383 (latest revision) 3) In view of limit on water-cement ratio for durability requirements in design mix concrete, concrete admixtures (Carboxylate based superplasticizers) can be used after taking prior approval of Engineer-in-Charge and the rates quoted for concrete items shall be inclusive of the cost of admixtures, Design mix, trial mixes, testing (at site & at approved labs), etc. complete. 4) The contractor shall set up sufficient number of self loading mobile concrete mixers inside the project area for the production of concrete. 5) Contractor may also be allowed to procure concrete from prior approved RMC plants on prior approval of the BARC subject to maintain required slump at site during pouring.To that extent suitable Mix Design should be carried out with required retention period. No extra payment will be made if concrete is brought from RMC plants outside the project area. 6) Fly ash based Portland Pozzolona Cement (PPC) shall only be used for all cement consuming items.

Providing, centering ,shuttering Form work using Film faced plywood to get a neat form finish surface for all types of structures including necessary strutting, steel frame work/H-beams, steel proping, staging, supports etc and deshuttering the same after the specified time all as per drawings and technical specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge

7) Manufacturer's Test certificate of cement which is procured from dealer/company is to be submitted for all cement related works by the contractor. 8) The Scope of works which are not included in any specific items but indicated in the document "General Scope of all works" shall be within the scope of overall contract works. The cost of work/item/material indicated in this document shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates of all individual items. 9) The quoted rates shall include necessary royalties, seigneiorage charges,etc. and all other charges to supply all the required construction materials. 10) The contractor shall submit all samples to the department for approval and no work shall commence before such samples are duly approved.

Cutting and felling trees of girth as specified below (measured at a height of 1m above ground level) including cutting of trunks and branches, removing the roots and stacking of service able material and disposal of unserviceable materials complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge

Providing and laying design mix reinforced cement concrete of M30 Grade by weigh batching using graded stone aggregate of 20mm max. size and coarse river sand/ crushed stone sand of approved quality including admixtures of approved quality, including handling & transportation, scaffolding, mechanical mixing, placing to required location by hoisting and / or pumping & mechanical vibration, consolidation, finishing, curing, hacking of concrete surfaces wherever required etc. complete at all levels in substructure/superstructure, roads, etc as per specifications & also including dewatering, if any, complete all as per drawings and technical specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge but excluding formwork, shuttering and steel reinforcement. Notes: 1) The minimum cement content shall be 390kg/Cum of concrete. However, actual cement content required shall be based on design mix requirements carried out at BARC approved (NABL accredited) laboratory. In case the cement quantity consumed more than the specified above, the cost towards extra cement will not be paid.

Providing 20 mm thick External plastering in two coats under layer 12 mm thick with cement mortar 1:4 (using river sand) finished with a top layer 8 mm thick in cement mortar 1:3 (using river sand) admixtured with Water proofing admixture @ 2% by weight of cement used (in both layers) and as per manufacturer's specifications, sieving of sand to required fineness, double tubular steel scaffolding, finishing, curing etc. complete all as per Technical specifications as directed by Engineer-in-charge. cost including forming drip moulds /vattas wherever necessary and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge

600 mm dia RCC Hume Pipe NP2 class

Making 50mm wide 20mm thick bands in C.M. 1:3 as specified below, in proper line, level, shape and design as shown in following drawings, fixing chiken wire mesh (to be paid under relevent item), preparing surfaces, rendering with sponge, scaffolding, curing, etc. complete all as per drawing, specification and as directed by Engineer in Charge

Providing Reinforcement steel of all diameters for reinforced cement concrete at all levels including supplying, preparation of bar bending schedules, cutting, bending, transporting to all elevations, placing and keeping in positions, all leads, fixing, tieing with 1.2 mm dia annealed GI coated binding wire including all labour charges, cost of cover blocks (in same grade of concrete) of various thicknesses and sizes etc. all as per drawings and technical specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Using TMT Bars of Specified Grades of all sizes. TMT bars to be supplied by the contractor of grade - Fe 500D / Fe-550D

Providing, supplying, cutting, welding, fabricating, hoisting and fixing in position structural steel members for trusses, pergolas, gates etc. using MS hollow circular / square / rectangular sections along with the associated connections complete including appling a coat of Zinc chromate primer all as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer in charge

300 mm dia RCC Hume Pipe NP2 class

Providing and laying of filter media with stone crushed aggregates of size 20mm to 63mm with a thickness not less than 500mm with smaller size towards soil and bigger size towards wall and provided over the entire suface behind abutment, wing wall and return wall to the full height compacted to a firm condition complete all as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Cost including supply of materials and labour.

Providing and laying bedding below foundations, grade slabs etc with crushed stone sand or other granular materials passing through 4.75 mm seive as per IS 383 etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Cost including supply of all materials and labour complete.

From 0.00 to 1.50 m depth from Average Ground Level

Providing supplying and filling at approved locations on inside of compound wall (for movement and access of BARC vehicles where specified) with approved moorum/ gravel brought from outside source in layer of not more than 300mm thick, compacted with vibratory rammer/ floor compactor/ roller and consolidated including watering to acheive a minimum of 95% of proctor density at optimum moisture content etc complete all as per drawing, technical specifications and as directed by engineer in charge. (Only consolidated thickness will be measured and paid for)

Forming of grooves of uniform size from 12 mm X 12 mm to 25 mm X 15 mm in plastered surfaces as per approved pattern using wooden batterns, nailed to the under layer including removal of wooden batterns, repair to the edges of plaster panels and finishing the groove complete as per specifications and as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Sub structure

Earth work excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/ manual means in all types of soil other than soft and hard rock, dressing the sides of foundation, ramming of bottom etc. including shoring and dewatering (if necessary) and refilling with selected excavated earth in layers of not more than 500 mm thick, each layer well rammed and consolidated including disposing the surplus earth within a distance of 500 m all as per specifications including clearing Jungle, uprooting of vegetation, grass, etc. complete and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge

Sub Structure

Providing and fixing 600/ 610 mm Dia Concertina barbed tape coil of follwoing dia. made from M.S galvanized ribbon tape of 0.5 mm thickness, 19 mm width with MS galvanised central spring core wire of 2.5mm diameter, stretching the coil/bundle to 9 m approximate, fixing the coil with clips between "Y" armed MS angle posts up to 3.0 high from ground level, including supplying and fixing 1.5mm thick MS galvanized clips etc. complete as per manufacturer's specification and including painting by dipping method the concrtina tape coil with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved shade and make over a coat of approved primer at fabrication shop before bringing the material to the site and fixing in position etc. complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: Thickness of galvanisation should not be less than 30 microns. Weight of coil/bundle being stretch to 9m should be 13-14 kg with a minimum of 78 turns per coil/bundle. No of MS galvanised clips per stretch of coil shall not be less than 200 Nos. Tensile strength of Spring core wire shall not be less than 165 Kg/Sq.mm. Mode of measurement for payment will be running meter of finished compound wall.

Providing and laying non pressure NP2 class RCC Hume pipes,with collars jointed with stiff mixture of cement mortar in the proportion of 1:2, laying to the levels, slopes and as per the drawings and specificationsandas directed by the Engineer-in-charge including testing of joints etc. complete.

Girth beyond 120cm

Supplying , cutting to shape and fixing 90 mm dia UPVC Pipes as per IS 4985 in RR Masonry/ RCC walls for weep holes complete all as per drawings and as specified at site.

Providing and Painting with Epoxy PU paint using 2 coats of (120 Micron dry film thickness) Epoxy PU high build coating as finishing coat over a priming coat of EPILUX-13 High Build primer of 50 micron thickness over steel surfaces at all locations prepared and applied as per manufacturer' specifications including preparation of surface by cleaning with wire brush and rubbing, scraping , applying sand paper , making free of Rust, dust, dirt etc. filling the holes, joint, cracks if any using epoxy putty complete. all as per manufacturers technical data and as directed at site to achieve minimum overall dry Film thickness of 170 micron (50 Micron primer Coat + 120 micron finishing Coat). On STEEL surfaces

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of 1:3:6 (1 cement, 3 Coarse river sand/ crushed stone sand, 6 graded stone aggregate of maximum size 20 mm) at all levels & elevations including for levelling course, roads, filling in trenches/ sunken slabs of building. Cost includes consolidation, finishing curing etc. complete all as per drawings and technical specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge but excluding the cost of form work shuttering, centering all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

General Notes for Structural steel : 1) Structural steel required for the work shall not be supplied by the Department. 2) Structural steel confirming to IS 2062 shall be supplied from their own plants rolled from virgin materials to be procured directly or from their authorised dealers and test cerificate to be produced. 3) The contractor shall supply documentary evidence of purchase of steel, Test certificate from manufacturers and also third party testing from approved laboratories with out any extra cost. 4) Connections, bolts and nuts shall not be measured for payment but the cost of which shall be deemed to have been included in the item rates (total weight including welding, nuts, bolts etc., of Embedded part/structure element shall be measured for payment). 5) Holes to be drilled only by Drilling machines and gas cutting of holes are not permitted. 6) Rate inclusive of all consumables like gas, welding electrodes and tools and tackles etc. 7) The Liquid Penetrant Inspection shall be carried out in 1% of the total joints and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge without any extra cost. 8) Also Refer Mechanical specifications for the MS items & SS items

Girth beyond 60cm upto and including 120cm girth

Providing, painting,finishing walls with two coats of anti-algae, weather proof acrylic smooth emulsion paint of approved make with silicon additives on sand face plaster/ plain plaster & concrete surfaes of required shade over new work over a base coat of exterior cement primer including preparation of the surfaces, scaffolding complete. as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
