Work of operation & running of WTP in shift. one shift consists of 8 hours of continuous duty. This may include round the clock operation. Minimum operating staff required for each shift operation shall include Supervisor (Degree in B.sc,/ Diploma in Mechanical/chemical) with two years min experience, and Technician (Electrical/Mechanical) (ITI) with two years minimum experience. Scope of work for this item includes but not limited to the conducting jar testing, Dosing estimation, mixing of chemicals, operation of plant & its equipment, checking water quality, maintaining log records, keeping the plant in running condition, any other work as directed by dept supervisor regarding WTP operation.

Supply of chemicals for running of water treatment plant. All chemicals shall be food graded only. Food graded test certificate from chemical supplier shall be submitted.

Supply, Installation & Testing of Dosing/metering pump of the following specification. This item is proposed to be executed if any new additional dosing system is proposed by Contractor as standby to existing dosing system. Flow: Min 12 LPH at the Injection pressure of min 2 Kg/Cm2. Type: Electro magnetically actuated diaphragm type. Power Supply to drive unit: 230V, 50Hz, Single phase power supply. This item includes dosing/metering pump, suction foot valve, injection valve, suction & delivery side tubing (total length of tubing shall be minimum 5 meter which includes both suction & delivery side piping), antisyphon valve, standard length cable comes along with OEM of pump, syntex tank of apprx size not less than 200Ltr for dosing chemical preparation, back pressure valve, standard nuts and bolts and any other accessories required for installation and proper function of dosing pump.

Cleaning of RCC tanks which are used for storage of Raw and treated waters in the WTP premises. Each RCC water tank size is apprx. 4.5 x 6.5 x 3.2 meter. Scope of work: Supply of man power, machinery, tools, safety instruments, cleaning chemicals etc., for cleaning of RCC water tanks. Removal of sand, silt, small stones & dislodging of algae etc., from the water tanks and disposing the same to a distance of not more than 50 meter from the tank. Emptying of waste water from the RCC water tanks which will be obtained during cleaning using dewatering pump. After completion of cleaning in all respects, thoroughly disinfecting the tank with bleaching powder as per Department Engineer instructions.

Testing & Submission of water quality reports obtained from NABL certified laboratory for both Raw & treated waters once in every month. Parameters needs to be tested are as follows: Turbidity, PH, Residual chlorine, TDS, Total Hardness, Total alkalanity, Color, odour.

Supply installation testing & commissioning of Turbidity meter system to check turbidity of water quality. Specification is as follows: Calibration: Automatic, Range 0-1000 NTU, Resolution: 0.01,0.1,1 for turbidity in various ranges between 0-1000NTU, Turbidity accuracy : +/- 2%,, calibration cuvvet kits, empty cuvvets, power supply adapter, cables, charging battery, carrying case, manuals etc all other accessories required for proper functioning of turbidity meter is in the scope of this item. Warranty: one year minimum. Make: Thermofisher scientific, Hach, or equvelent.

Operation & Annual maintanance of treated water supply distribution system at Anuvihar colony

Annual maintanance of treated water supply distribution system consists of following equipment: Treated water distribution system chiefly comprises of 2 No's of horizantal base mounted flexible coupled centrifugal pumps (15HP) , and one (01) no of submerssible pump (3HP), piping network connecting from Treated water storage tanks to various housing quarters located at various locations of Anuvihar colony, isolation valves(GM gate) , butterfly valves, float valves installed at roof mounted over head tanks of quarters, air release valves etc. Drawing of Treated water distribution system is attached as Annexure-D. Major piping and valves quantity needs to be considered for this AMC is attached as Annexure -E. Work nature: Treated water obtained from WTP plant shall be stored in the existing treated water storage tanks located near WTP premises. This stored treated water shall be supplied to various housing quarters of anuvihar colony using treated water distribution pumps installed at WTP premises via distribution piping (GI/MS pipe) network which is mostly under ground carbon steel piping. As per water supply requirement valves needs to be adjusted daily. For this water distribution AMC work, payment shall be made through individual items as mentioned below. O&M of pumps shall be paid through item/Sl.no 11,13. spare parts required for O&M of treated water distribution pumps shall be paid through item/Sl. no 12. supply of man power shall be paid thorugh BOQ item 14. For any repair work in existing piping, or in valves of Treated water supply distribution system considered for this AMC work, payment shall be paid through items/ Sl. no. of BOQ 15, 16 & 17 as and when repair requirement arises. For any new piping systems which needs to be extened to the existing system shall be paid through item/Sl. no 18, 19.

Maintanance of Treated water distribution pumps of 2No's along with its motors, isolation valves, NRV, strainer, interconnection (from storage tank to discharge header line) SS piping, pressure gauges, fittings, all other accessories making system operational. Pump Make & Model No.: Johnson SPX flow, CN 32-250. Motor make: Bharat Bhijilee. Pump motor capacity: 15Hp Major spare parts of pumps required during operation & maintanance shall be paid through item no B2. If any spares parts or consumables which are not covered in item B2 will automatically comes under this item and no seperate payment will be made in this regards.

Maintanance of submersible pump (3HP ) of qty 1 No, which is used as a Standby pump for treated water distribution during lean period. Make of submerssible pump: Falcon. Model: VRS series. Body: SS, Capacity: 3Hp. Any spare parts, lubrication oils, consumables etc consumed during operation & maintanance of this pump shall be comes under this item only and no seperate payment will be made. Consumables like grease etc needs to be applied and pumps needs to be maintained as per OEMs reccomendation.

Scope of this work includes operation of Treated water distribution pumps mentioned in item 11 & 13 of this BOQ, operation of valves to supply treated water to colony quarters as per water demand, maintaining of log books, any other work as directed by department supervisor regarding water supply distribution system.

Leakage arrestation work in GI/MS carbon steel pipe work through welding,cutting, plumbing etc including supply of man power, tools, tackles, safety instruments, consumables, required fittings to complete the work as per direction of EIC. This item does nt includes under ground excavation, supply of pipe material for which seperete item is available in this BOQ.
