The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: - For technical personnel: - A degree holder in Civil Engineering or an experienced Diploma holder in Civil Engineering: 10 years in construction, with 3 years of road experience. - A Diploma holder in Civil Engineering: 3 years of experience. - Others (Specify): Supervisor, Science Graduate, with 4 years of experience. - For routine maintenance: - A degree holder in Civil Engineering: Road experience 3 years. - A Diploma holder in Civil Engineering: Road experience 3 years. The value and percentage of similar works completed are as follows: - The bidder should have completed similar works with a value of at least the estimated cost of the current work. - The bidder should have achieved a minimum financial turnover in any one year, equivalent to: - 60% of the amount put to bid, if the amount put to bid is Rs.200 lakhs or less - 75% of the amount put to bid, if the amount put to bid is more than Rs.200 lakhs - The bidder should have satisfactorily completed at least one similar work equal in value to: - One-third of the estimated cost of work (excluding maintenance cost for five years) for which the bid is invited - One-fourth of the estimated cost of work (excluding maintenance cost for five years) for which the bid is invited, in case of Naxal/Left Wing Extremist Affected Districts - The value of road work completed by the bidder under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana in the originally stipulated period of completion shall be counted as 120% for the purpose of this requirement. The amount and deductible for insurance are 1% of the estimated cost of construction put to tender.
