The bidder is required to have prior work experience in construction works of a similar nature and volume over the last five years. The experience requirements include: - 4 years of experience for field testing laboratory - Experience in road works, with specific requirements including: - A Degree Holder in Civil Engineering or an Experienced Diploma Holder in Civil Engineering with 10 years of experience in construction and 3 years of road experience - A Diploma Holder in Civil Engineering with 3 years of experience in road works - For routine maintenance, a Degree Holder in Civil Engineering or a Diploma Holder in Civil Engineering with 3 years of road experience The bidder should have completed similar works with a value of: - Upto 5 Cr., >5 Cr. upto 15 Cr., >15 Cr upto 25 Cr., and >25 Cr. The bidder should have achieved a minimum financial turnover in any one year, equivalent to 60% of the amount put to bid if it's Rs.200 lakhs and less, or 75% if it's more than Rs.200 lakhs. The bidder must have also satisfactorily completed at least one similar work equal in value to one-third of the estimated cost of work, or one-fourth in case of Naxal/Left Wing Extremist Affected Districts. The value of road work completed under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana in the originally stipulated period of completion shall be counted as 120% for the purpose of this sub-clause. The bidder should provide details of the works in progress or contractually committed with certificates from the concerned officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer or equivalent.
