The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: - For technical personnel: - A degree holder in Civil Engineering or an experienced Diploma holder in Civil Engineering with 10 years of experience in construction, and 3 years of experience in road works. - A Diploma holder in Civil Engineering with 3 years of experience. - A Supervisor with a Science Graduate degree and 4 years of experience. - For routine maintenance: - A degree holder in Civil Engineering with 3 years of road experience. - A Diploma holder in Civil Engineering with 3 years of road experience. The value and percentage of similar works completed are as follows: - The bidder should have completed similar works with a value of at least the estimated cost of the current work. - The bidder should have achieved a minimum financial turnover in any one year, equivalent to: - 60% of the amount put to bid, if the amount put to bid is Rs.200 lakhs or less - 75% of the amount put to bid, if the amount put to bid is more than Rs.200 lakhs - The bidder should have satisfactorily completed at least one similar work equal in value to: - One-third of the estimated cost of work (excluding maintenance cost for five years) for which the bid is invited - One-fourth of the estimated cost of work (excluding maintenance cost for five years) in case of Naxal/Left Wing Extremist Affected Districts Additionally, the bidder should provide information on the total annual volume of civil engineering construction work executed and payments received in the last five years preceding the year in which bids are invited. The bidder should also provide details of works in hand and machineries owned or on lease or possessed on hire. The amount and deductible for insurance are 1% of the estimated cost of construction put to tender.
