The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience in works of a similar nature and size for each of the last five years, with a total monetary value of civil construction works performed for each of the last five years. The bidder should have achieved a minimum financial turnover in any one year, equivalent to 60% of the amount put to bid if the amount put to bid is Rs.200 lakhs and less, and 75% of the amount put to bid if the amount put to bid is more than Rs.200 lakhs. In Naxal/Left Wing Extremist Affected Districts, the figures of 60% and 75% would be replaced by 50%. The bidder should have completed similar works with a value of at least one-third of the estimated cost of work, and should provide evidence of access to line(s) of credit and availability of other financial resources/facilities (10 percent of the contract value) certified by a banker. The bidder should also provide details of works in progress or contractually committed, with certificates from the concerned officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer or equivalent. The value and percentage of similar works completed include: - 60% of the amount put to bid if the bid amount is Rs.200 lakhs or less - 75% of the amount put to bid if the bid amount is more than Rs.200 lakhs - 50% in Naxal/Left Wing Extremist Affected Districts - One-third of the estimated cost of work - 10 percent of the contract value - 25 percent of the Contract Price - Rs.200 lakhs and less. The bidder should have technical personnel with a Degree Holder in Civil Engineering or an Experienced Diploma Holder in Civil Engineering with 3 years of road experience, and 10 years of experience in construction. The bidder should also provide reports on the financial standing, such as profit and loss statements and auditor's reports for the past three years.
