Bed Stead Overall size :- Steel Hostel Cot should be of overall size 2100 mm (L) x950 mm (W) x 400 mm (H) is measured from the floor to the bed. FRAME:- The outer frame made from CRCA Rectangular pipe of 50 mm X 25 mm X 1.6mm Thk. With5 No. of stiffeners made out of CRCA Square pipe25mm X 25mm x1.6mm Thk. Welded to outer main frame. Each Stiffeners shall be provided with 4 No. drilled holes of 5mm Dia. For fitting of Plywood. HEADBOW:- Main post is 50 mm dia round pipe ,height 850 mm thickness 1.6 mm and middle two vertical round pipe 25 mm dia x 1.6mm thickness fixed with 25mm x 25 mm ms round pipe . Two 25mm X25mm X 1.6mm Thk. horizontal sq pipe fixed with the post. LEGBOW :-Main post is 50 mm dia round pipe , height 440 mm thickness 1.6 mm. Two 25mm dia X 1.6mm Thk. horizontal round pipe fixed with the post .Gusset plate :- 100 x 60 mm gusset plate welded fixed with every post TOP OF COT :- Plywood size 78 inches (L) X 36 inches (W) X 19 mm thickness BWP grade plywood (100% Phenol Bonded, Zero Gap, Eco Friendly, Low Emission, Double Press Ply Presended Core e.g. Green or Century) set plate socket ,with the help of 5mm Philips Head Self Tapping Plated Screws. Shoes: -Neoprene rubber shoes of suitable dia. shall be provided to headbow and leg bow.COLOUR :- Powder Coated:- All dents, burrs and sharp edges shall be removed from the various components and they shall be scrubbed and rinsed to remove grease , rust, scales. All steel parts shall be given phosphating treatment followed by coat of suitable primer such as zinc chromateredoxide. Putty shall be applied to all surface requiring filling. Then two coats of powder coated black shade shall be applied /painted and baked upto 80 to 120 centigrade. Epoxy Polyester Powder Coated:- All the metal parts should be coated with epoxy polyester powder Silvery Grey or T.A.Grey or any other shade as per the choice of consignee. Coated Layer should be of minimum 50 microns. All metal parts should be thoroughly in house pretreated by phosphate coating confirming to IS 3168 – 1966 class C. The treated metal should be then coated with epoxy polyester powder of minimum 50 micron thickness (+/- 0.5%) and oven backed at 180 to 200 centigrade. The cots should be exactly as per the specification and drawing provided.

Mattress: POLYESTER MADE SINGLE SIZE FOAM MATRESS SIZE: 78" X 36" X 4”. High density polyurethane foam, in one piece, no glue assembled pieces. The mattress should be exactly as per the specification and drawing provided.

Wardrobe: It will be made up of 18mm thick ply(Century/Green) board conforming toIS 303 Grade II Interior of Century make having 2 mm thick PVC edge (Rehau make) band. The back Panel shall be made out of 9mm thick ply board (Century/Green) conforming toIS 303 Grade II Interior of Century make having 2 mm thick PVC edge (Rehau make) band There will be avertical partition up to 900mm from top, 02nos. hanger rod provision with 01 no. drawer with key. There will be 02 nos. shelves from the bottom of the wardrobe and 01 vertical partition. Size: 900 W X 600 D X 1950 H. Manufacturer should be ISO 9001:2015, ISO 140001: 2015, 50001:2018, 45001:2018 BIFMA or IGBC and CE certified. The wardrobe should be exactly as per the specification and drawing provided.
