Extra over item No. 3 as the work is within the riverine areas of Sundarban surrounded by the Bay of Bengal etc @ 10%

Hire and labour charges for shuttering with or without staging upto 4.0 m heightusing approved stout propswith wooden planks/ply wood/ steel sheet plate with requred bracing for any kind of plain or reinforced concrete worksin all sorts of minor structure including culvert, box culvert, croos drain etc. The rate is inclusive of fitting, fixing and striking out after completion of work as per specification and direction. b) Where staging is not requred.

Providing & laying nominal Mix Cement Concrete of Grade M-20 grade with coarse and the fine aggregate conforming to IS: 383, the size of course aggregate not exceeding 25 mm of pakur or other approved variety including Screening and clening of aggregate , If necessary both of approved quality and cement as necessary compacting by vibrator of other suitable means cost of curing with water. cost for quility control , sampling, testing etc. and including placing a Separation membrane of impermeable PVC sheet 125 micron thick transfernt of white in colour laid flat with minimum creases. Before placing the seperation membrne the sub base shall be swept clean kof all the extraneous materials Whenever overlap of plastic sheets in necessary the same shall be at least 300 mm and any damaged sheating shall be replaced at the Contractor cost including carriage of all materials to site but excluding the cost of staging shuttering and reinforcement if any.

Supplying,dressing and stacking at site bamboo pins of 5.0 CM dia and upto 7.5 cm diameter (Dia to be measured at mid length).

Driving bamboo pins in standing or flowing water including scaffolding and driving appliances (a) where boats are not necessary)

Supplying,fitting & fixing with iron nails half split bamboo walling pieces(av dia of bamboo not less than 5 cm).

Supplying,fitting & fixing darma mat in flowing of stagnant water or in dry areas with 16 SWG G.I. wire as per direction of Eingeer in-charge. B) Where boats are not necessary.

Earthwork from borrow pits for making embankments or roads for repair to embankment within an initial lead of 30 m and an initial lift of 1.5m including breaking clods and depositing the same in layers not exceeding 25 cms layers and rough dressing etc. complete as per profile.

Earthwork in excavation in all kinds of soil for making embankments, repairs to the embankment, closing breaches etc. as per profile including supply and transporting the earth by truck or tractor or any other mechanical means on land , including loading, transporting, unloading and stacking with all lifts bothways and head load where necessary and depositing the same on embankments, clannels, filling depressions in requisite profile, levelling as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge within a lead of, (a) Beyond 500 metre and upto1.00 Km.

Extra rate for earth work as intem No1 for each additional lift of 1.5 M part thereof beyond the initial lift of 1.5 M a) One extra lift………

Providing and filling joint sealing compound as per drawing and technical specification with coarse sand and 6% bitumen by weight.

Earth work in excavation of foundation trenches or drains, in all sorts of soil (including mixed soil but excluding laterite or sandstone) including removing, spreading or stacking the spoils within a lead of 75 m. as directed. The item includes necessary trimming the sides of trenches, levelling,dressing and ramming the bottom, bailing out water as required complete. (a) Depth of excavation not exceeding 1,500 mm.

Earth work in filling in foundation trenches or plinth with good earth, in layers notexceeding 150 mm. including watering and ramming etc. layer by layer complete. (Payment to be made on the basis of measurement of finished quantity of work) (a) With earth obtained from excavation of foundation

Supplying, fitting and placing HYSD bar reinforcement in Sub-structure including initial straightening, straightening of coils bars, removal of loose rust (if any), cutting to requisite length bending, binding with annealed wire not less than 1 mm in size and conforming to IS 280 at every intersection hooked and bent to correct shape and placed on forms etc. including cost of black annealed wire and cost of loading, unloading, carriage of all steel materials complete as per drawing and technical specifications and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

First class Brick work in cement sand mortar in steining of well, pier, abutment, wing wall, parapetsb cross drain. H.P. culverts, guard wall etc. including curing, scaffolding, raking out joints etc. complete including cost and carriage of all materials. (a) In 1:4 proportion.

Providing weep holes in Brick masonry / Plain / Reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall / return wall with 100 mm dia AC pipe, extending through the full width of the structure with slope of 1V:20H towards drawing face. Complete as per drawing and Technical specifications

Plaster (to wall, floor, ceiling etc.) with sand and cement mortar including rounding off or chamfering corners as directed and raking out joints including throating, nosing and drip course, scaffolding/staging where necessary (Ground floor).[Excluding cost of chipping over concrete surface] With Mortar Mix- 1:4 (a) 20mm thick plaster

Neat cement punning about 1.5mm thick in wall, dado, window sill, floor etc. NOTE:Cement 0.152 cu.m per100 sq.m.

Dismantling of existing structures like culverts, bridges, retaining walls and other structure comprising of masonry, cement concrete, steel work, including T&P and scaffolding wherever necessary, sorting the dismantled material, disposal of unserviceable material and stacking the serviceable material with all lifts and lead of 1000 m as per Technical Specifications Clause 202 for Rural Roads of MORD (b) Cement mortar

Dismantling of existing structures like culverts, bridges, retaining walls and other structure comprising of masonry, cement concrete, steel work, including T&P and scaffolding wherever necessary, sorting the dismantled material, disposal of unserviceable material and stacking the serviceable material with all lifts and lead of 1000 m as per Technical Specifications Clause 202 for Rural Roads of MORD c) Reinforced Cement Concrete

Providing & fixing Concrete Sign Board as per IRC specification of size 900 x 750 x 37 mm. thick made with RCC 1:1½:3 with pakur variety stone chips reinforced with double layer IRC febric (75 x 75 mm. mesh) and fixed with necessary nuts & bolts on two RC precast posts 100 mm. x 150 mm. of height 2.65 m. of which top 750 mm. is of section 100 x 13 mm. and 1.90 metre above GL & 0.75 metre below GL including digging hole, repacking the same with cement concrete 1:3:6 with jhama khoa or with local stone chips etc. complete including painting two coats on both faces lettering sign marks etc. as per direction of the Engineer-in- Charge. (The rate is inclusive of cost of reinforcement, concrete, shuttering, nuts & bolts, washer etc. complete.)
