South Eastern Railway Tender

The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing specific categories of work during the last 7 years. These categories are: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, or (iii) One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. A similar work is defined as any Civil Engineering Work. The value and percentage of similar works completed are considered for evaluation, with specific percentages mentioned, such as 30%, 40%, and 60% of the advertised value of the tender. Additionally, the tenderer must have a minimum average annual contractual turnover of 'V/N' or 'V'; whichever is less, where 'V'= Advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees and 'N'= Number of years prescribed for completion of work for which bids have been invited. The average annual contractual turnover is calculated as an average of "total contractual payments" in the previous three financial years, as per the audited balance sheet.
