The bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 7 years: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, or (iii) One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. A substantially completed work means an ongoing work in which payment equal to or more than 90% of the present contract value has been made to the contractor. For completed work, the value of the final bill, including the Price Variation Clause (PVC) amount, is considered as the completion cost of work. In case of substantially completed work, the total gross amount already paid, including the PVC amount, as mentioned in the certificate, is considered as the cost of substantially completed work. The overall cost, including the PVC amount, of a completed or substantially completed work similar in nature is considered for evaluating the bidder's eligibility. For newly formed partnership firms, the credentials of individual partners from previous proprietary firms or dissolved previous partnership firms are considered only to the extent of their share in the previous entity on the date of dissolution or split and their share in the newly formed partnership firm. A specific percentage of similar work completed is mentioned as 90% for substantially completed work.
