The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having completed projects with more than 40% of the project cost executed during the last five years from the date of NIT. Additionally, the bidder should have completed a single running project that is similar in nature to the intended job, with a completion extent of 80% or more, and a value not less than 40% of the estimated amount put to tender of the intended job. The value and percentage of similar works completed are as follows: - More than 40% of the project cost - 80% or more completion extent - Value not less than 40% of the estimated amount put to tender - 30% and 20% in case of 2nd and 3rd Call respectively for both project cost and estimated amount. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed as a prime agency, at least one similar nature of work with a magnitude of more than 40% of the estimated amount put to tender. Alternatively, they can have completed at least two similar nature of works with a magnitude of at least 30% of the estimated amount put to tender. The bidder should also have one single running similar nature of work that has been completed to the extent of 80% or more, with a value of not less than 40% of the estimated amount put to tender. Other values mentioned include 25%, 75%, and 70%, which are percentages of the estimated amount put to tender. The executed value of completed or running work is considered as a credential, and the work order of relevant work(s) duly authenticated by the bidder is to be submitted. The credential certificate should be issued by the Executive Engineer or equivalent or competent authority. The validity period of the credential has been extended up to 7 years, excluding the Covid Pandemic Period 2020-2021 & 2021-2022. The bidder's experience is assessed based on the value of engineering works in respect of projects executed in any one year during the last five years. The calculation for the Assessed Available Bid capacity includes the maximum value of engineering works, the number of years prescribed for completion of the works, and the financial liability of the bidder. The formula for Assessed Available Bid capacity is: (AxNx2-B). The bidder's net worth for the last year should be positive, and their available bid capacity at the expected time of bidding should be more than the total estimated cost of the works.
