The required prior work experience for the bidder includes producing credentials of a similar nature of completed work with specific value and percentage requirements. The bidder should have completed work of a minimum value of 40% of the estimated amount put to tender during 5 years prior to the date of issue of the tender notice. Alternatively, the bidder should have completed 2 similar works, each of a minimum value of 30% of the estimated amount put to tender during 5 years prior to the date of issue of the tender notice. Another option is that the bidder should have completed one single running work of a similar nature, which has been completed to the extent of 80% or more, and the value of which is not less than the desired value (40% of the estimated amount put to tender). Additionally, the bidder can also meet the requirements by having a similar nature of completed work of the minimum value of 30% of the estimated amount put to tender during 5 years prior to the date of issue of the tender notice, or 2 similar nature of completed works, each of the minimum value of 25% of the estimated amount put to tender during 5 years prior to the date of issue of the tender notice. The bidder can also produce credentials of one single running work of similar nature which has been completed to the extent of 75% or more and value of which is not less than the desired value at (a) above. For the 3rd call of NIT, the requirements are producing credentials of similar nature of completed work of the minimum value of 20% of the estimated amount put to tender during 5 years prior to the date of issue of the tender notice, or producing credentials of one single running work of similar nature which has been completed to the extent of 70% or more and value of which is not less than the desired value at (a) above. The values mentioned include 25.00 crore and 25.00 lakh, and percentages such as 30%, 25%, 75%, 20%, and 70%. A credential certificate issued by the Executive Engineer or equivalent or competent authority will be taken as credential.
