The required prior work experience for the bidder includes completion of projects that are similar in nature to the works, with specific conditions. The bidder should have completed projects with more than 40% of the project cost executed during the last five years, or a single running project similar in nature to the intended job and completed to the extent of 80% or more, with a value of not less than 40% of the estimated amount put to tender of the intended job. The values and percentages mentioned are: - 40% of the project cost for completed projects - 80% or more completion of a single running project - 40% of the estimated amount put to tender of the intended job - Alternative percentages for 2nd and 3rd calls: 30% and 20% of the project cost, 75% and 70% completion of a single running project, and 30% and 20% of the estimated amount put to tender. Additionally, the bidder should have satisfactorily completed at least one similar nature of work with a magnitude of more than 40% of the estimated amount put to tender, or at least two similar works with each having a magnitude of at least 30% of the estimated amount. The bidder can also have one single running similar work completed to the extent of 80% or more, with a value of not less than 40% of the estimated amount. The bidder's prior work experience is assessed based on the maximum value of engineering works in respect of projects executed in any one year during the last five years. The available bid capacity is calculated based on the maximum value of engineering works, and the bidder's net worth for the current assessment year should be positive. The bidder should also have available liquid assets and/or credit facilities not less than 10% of the estimated cost put to tender, and may be required to provide Additional Performance Security @ 10% of the tendered amount if the accepted bid value is 80% or less of the Estimate put to tender.
