The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having completed work of a minimum value of 30% of the estimated amount put to tender during 5 years prior to the date of issue of the tender notice. Alternatively, the bidder should have completed 2 similar nature of works, each of minimum value of 25% of the estimated amount put to tender during 5 years prior to the date of issue of the tender notice. Another option is that the bidder may have one single running work of similar nature, which has been completed to the extent of 75% or more, and the value of which is not less than the desired value at the first option. Additionally, the bidder should produce credentials of similar nature of completed work of the minimum value of 20% of the estimated amount put to tender during 5 years prior to the date of issue of the tender notice. Alternatively, the bidder should produce credentials of one single running work of similar nature which has been completed to the extent of 70% or more and value of which is not less than the desired value at the first option. The bidder should also have a completion certificate from Engineer-in-Charge mentioning the actual date of completion, and a turnover of 100% in a year in the last 3 years in civil work. The bid capacity should be more than the estimated amount put to NIe-T. The bidder should have a positive net worth, authenticated by a Registered Chartered Accountant, and a satisfactory running work certificate, with the date of issue on or after the date of publication of this NIe-T, against the executing agency. The required information on the value and percentage of similar works completed includes: - 30% of the estimated amount put to tender - 25% of the estimated amount put to tender for each of 2 similar works - 75% completion of a single running work - 20% of the estimated amount put to tender - 70% completion of a single running work - 100% turnover in a year in the last 3 years in civil work.
