The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience in Electrical Streetlighting works, with specific requirements such as: - Completed works of a similar nature and size in the last seven years, with certificates from the concerned officer of the rank of Executive Engineer or equivalent. - Achieved an average annual financial turnover of a certain amount in all classes of Electrical Streetlighting works only. - Completed a total monetary value of Electrical streetlighting works performed for each of the last three years, with scanned copies of certificates from Chartered Accountant. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed similar works during the last seven years, with the following requirements: - Three similar completed works costing not less than 40% each of the estimated cost. - Two similar completed works costing not less than 50% each of the estimated cost. - One similar completed work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost. Specific roles and experience required include: - 2 years as Project Manager on Streetlighting work of highway project. - Site Engineer (Electrical) with Diploma in Electrical Engineering + 2 years Exp. or Graduation in Electrical Engineering +1 yr. Exp., and 1 year of experience on Streetlighting work of highway project. - Site Engineer (Civil) with Diploma in Civil Engineering + 2 years Exp. or Graduation in Civil Engineering +1 yr. Exp., and 1 year of experience on civil engineering works of highway project. The bidder should have completed at least 90% of the contract value as a prime contractor, or as a nominated/approved subcontractor. An escalation factor is provided to bring the value of completed works to the current financial year level.
