Granular Sub-Base(GSB)-200mm thick: Construction of granular sub-base by providing close graded Material, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mixed Material to work site, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per clause 401. GR-IV.

Wet Mix Macadam(WMM)-250mm thick: Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the Material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant carriage of mixed Material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with paver in sub- base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density.

Prime Coat: Prime coat (Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion on prepared surface of granular Base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer atthe rate shown in 500-1 using mechanical means.)

Dense Bituminous Macadam(DBM)- 55 mm thick Providing And Laying Dense Graded Bituminous Macadam With 100-120 Tph Batch Type Hmp Using Crushed Aggregates Of Specified Grading, Premixed With Bituminous Binder Of Approved Grade @ 4.0% (Min) By Weight Of Total Mix And Filler(Cement /Hydrated Lime / Rock Dust ) As Per Table 500-10 And Mix Design Done As Per Table 500- 11And Job Mix Formula As Per Clause 505.3.3 Transporting The Hot Mix To Work Site, Laying With A Hydrostatic Paver Finisher With Sensor Control To The Required Grade, Level And Alignment, Rolling With Smooth Wheeled, Vibratory Tandem Roller And With Pneumatic Tyre Roller Of 12 To 15 Tonne Weight With A Pressure At Least 0.56 Mpa As Directed By E-I-C, And To Achieve The Desired Compaction As Per Mort&H Specification Clause No. 505.3.5 Complete In All Respects (Reference To Mort&H'S Specification Clause 505). For Grading -2

Tack coat: Tack coat (Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion usin gemulsion pressure distributor at required rate on the prepared bituminous/granular rsurface cleaned with mechanical broom.)

(i) On Granular surface treated with primer @ 0.25kg-0.30 /sqm

(ii) On bituminous surface @ 0.20kg-0.3kg /sqm.

Bituminous Concrete(BC)- 40mm thick Bituminous Concrete (Providingandlaying bituminous concrete with100-120TPH batch type hot mix plant producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading ,pre mixed with bituminous binder @5.4 to5.6%of mix and filler, transporting the hotmix to worksite, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade,level and alignment,rolling with smooth wheeled,vibratory and tandem rollers to achievethe desired compaction as per MORTH specification clauseNo. 509 complete in all respects). For Grading -2

Construction of earthen shoulders: Construction of earthen shoulders with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts & leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of table No. 300-2 (Reference to MoRT&H's specification clause 305).

Metal Beam Crash Barrier: Type - B, "THRIE" : Metal Beam Crash Barrier (Providing and erecting a "Thrie" metal beam crash barrier comprising of 3 mm thick corrugated sheet metal beam rail, 85 cm above road/ground level, fixed on ISMC series channel vertical post, 150 x 75 x 5 mm spaced 2 m centre to centre, 2 m high with 1.15 m below ground level, all steel parts and fitments to be galvanised by hot dip process, all fittings to conform to IS:1367 and IS:1364, metal beam rail to be fixed on the vertical post with a space of channel section 150 x 75 x 5 mm, 546 mm long complete as per clause 811).

PCC Lined Drain: Construction of PCC Lined Drain (M-15) 0.60 m width and 0.45 m depth, 15 cm in thickness as per specification and standards laid down in MoRTH Specifications.

Gabion Works: Providing & making of Gabion structure of size (2x1x1)m with Mechanically Woven Double Twisted Hexagonal Shaped Wire mesh Gabion Boxes as per IS 16014:2012, MoRT&H's 5 th revision clause 2500, of required size, Mesh Type 10x12(D=100 mm with tolerance of ±2%), Zinc coated, Mesh wire diameter 2.7/3.7mm (ID/OD), mechanically edged/selvedged with partitions at every 1m interval and shall have minimum 10 numbers of openings per meter of mesh perpendicular to twist, tying with lacing wire of diameter 2.2/3.2mm(ID/OD), supplied @3% by weight of Gabion boxes, filled with boulders with least dimension of 200 mm, as per drawing, all complete as per directions of Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and filling of boulders 150-250mm size in Gabion boxes. The boulders shall be hard, angular to round in shape and free from weathering and fractures.

Providing and laying Needle Punched and mechanically bonded non-woven Geotextile indigenously manufactured from high quality fibers behind the gabion wall as filter media.(Ref to MoRT&H’s 5th Revision 2013, Spec- 702) (Including additional 10% for joining seats, overlaps and wastages) Type-I (150gsm) non-wooven geotextile

Retro-Reflectorised Traffic Signs: Providing and fixing of retroreflectorised cautionary, mandatory and informatory sign as per IRC :67 made of high intensity grade sheeting vide clause 801.3, fixed over aluminium sheeting, 1.5 mm thick,when signs with maximum side dimensions do not exceed 600mm, or with aluminium sheeting 2.0mm thick when signs with maximum side dimensions exceeds 600mm, supported on a mild steel angle iron post 75 mm x 75 mm x 6 mm firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M15 grade cement concrete 45 cm x 45 cm x 60 cm, 60 cm below ground level as per approved drawing (Reference to MORT&H's specification 801). Note: 1.Any one area of aluminium sheeting may be adopted as per site requirement and in accordance with IRC : 67 2. The depth of foundation and quantityof cementconcrete in the foundation are indicative. These may be increased for areas having higher wind velocities like in coastal areas.This is applicable to all road signs and directions boards.

Road Distance Indicator Reinforced cement concrete M15 grade kilometre stone of standard design as per IRC:8-1980, fixing in position including painting and printing etc (Reference to MORT&H's specification 805).

Road Marking with Hot Applied Thermoplastic Compound with Reflectorising Glass Beads on Bituminous Surface Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5 mm thick including reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35 .The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes (Reference to MORT&H's specification 803).

Road studs: Reflective Pavement Marker with Shank Providing and fixing of single mould twin shanked moulded road markers/road studs made of poly carbonate or ABS body and shall support a load of 13635 kg tested in accordance to ASTM D4280 and complying with specifications as per clause 804 of MoRT&Hs 5th revision and section 5 of IRC-35:2015, the reflecting panels shall consist of number of lenses containing single or dual prismatic cubes capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lenses face. The slope of retro reflecting surface should be 25 +/-5 degree to base. The reflective marker shall be fixed on the road surface using the epoxy/adhesive and the procedure recommended by the manufacturer. No nails shall be used to affix the markers so that they do not pose safety hazard on the road.

Landslide Clearance: Clearance of land slides in soil and ordinary rock by a bull-dozer D 80 A- 12, 180 HP and disposal of the same on the valley side as per the requirement of MORT&H's specification 3000. Slide clearance involves pushing of loose earth slided on the road surface from hill face on the valley side. Since no cutting of original ground is involved, the output of dozer has been taken as 60 cum per hour for soil, ordinary rock and blasted hard rock. However, if there are objection to disposing of earth on valley side, additional resources for its disposal shall be considered as per site conditions.
