The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience in projects with an estimated capital cost exceeding a certain amount. For projects up to Rs. 100 Cr., the amount should be 5% of the estimated cost, and for projects more than Rs. 100 Cr., the amount should be 10% of the estimated cost. The bidder should have completed similar works with a value of at least 20% of the estimated project cost for the project for which bids are being invited. Specifically, for tunnel projects, the bidder should have completed at least one tunnel project in the last 7 financial years, with a cross-sectional area of at least 80% of the tunnel to be constructed, and a length of at least 40% of the tunnel to be constructed or 2 km, whichever is less. For similar works, the bidder should have completed: - Two similar completed works with a length of not less than or equal to 25% each of the estimated cost of the tunnel. - One similar completed work with a length of not less than or equal to 35% of the estimated cost of the tunnel. - For Major Bridges/ROB/Flyovers, the bidder should have completed at least one similar work with a value of not less than or equal to 20% of the Estimated Project Cost. The bidder should have a minimum Average Annual Turnover of 15% of the Estimated Project Cost and a minimum Net Worth of Rs. 32.875 crore at the close of the preceding financial year. The Threshold Technical Capacity should be: - 0.75 times the Estimated Project Cost for projects with an Estimated Project Cost less than or equal to 100 Crore - 1 time the Estimated Project Cost for projects with an Estimated Project Cost more than 100 Crore and less than or equal to 500 Crore - 1 time the Estimated Project Cost for projects with an Estimated Project Cost more than 500 Crore. The bidder is required to have prior work experience in construction of Eligible Project(s) or has undertaken construction works by itself in a PPP project, such that the sum total thereof is more than Rs. 328.75 crore (the “Threshold Technical Capacity”) over the past 5 financial years preceding the Bid Due Date. The value of similar works completed should be more than Rs. 328.75 crore.
