The bidder is required to have prior work experience of completing projects similar in nature to the works. The requirements for prior work experience include: 1. Completing work of a similar nature with a minimum value of 40% of the estimated amount put to tender during the last 5 years. 2. Alternatively, completing 2 similar works, each with a minimum value of 30% of the estimated amount put to tender during the last 5 years. 3. Another option is completing a single running work of a similar nature, which has been completed to the extent of 80% or more, and the value of which is not less than the desired value at option 1. The bidder should provide a list of such projects, including details such as the name of the employer, location and nature of work, name of the consulting engineer for supervision, contract price in Indian Rs., percentage of participation of the company, and dates of starting and completion of work. A certificate from the employer for each project should also be attached. More than 40% of the project cost should have been executed during the last 5 years. The contract price in Indian Rs. should be mentioned for each project. The bidder should have a minimum value of 40% of the estimated amount put to tender for a single work, or a minimum value of 30% of the estimated amount put to tender for each of the 2 similar works. The completion of 80% or more of a single running work, with a value not less than the desired value at option 1, is also acceptable.
