The bidder should have prior work experience in projects similar in nature to the works. The bidder needs to provide credentials of a similar nature of completed work of at least 30% of the estimated amount put to tender within the last 5 years prior to the date of publishing of the tender. Alternatively, the bidder can produce credentials of 2 similar nature of completed work, each of the minimum value of 25% of the estimated amount put to tender during the last 5 years. Another option is that the bidder can produce credentials of one single running work of similar nature which has been completed to the extent of 75% or more and the value of which is not less than the desired value. The completion certificate should contain information such as the name of work, estimated amount, tendered amount, value of executed work, and date of completion of the project. The bidder's average annual turnover during the last 5 years should be at least 30% of the amount put to tender. The bidder should also have access to or have available liquid assets and/or credit facilities not less than 10% of the estimated cost put to tender. The bidder should have experience and technical acumen in Laying of water supply Pipes with supplying Pipes, Specials and Valves. The bidder should have the requisite technical personnel and/or plants/testing machineries/equipment for all the items of works. The bidder is required to submit a list of projects completed, including details such as the name of the employer, location and nature of work, contract price, percentage of participation of the company, and dates of start and completion of work. The bidder should not have abandoned more than one work, and not more than one of their contracts should have been rescinded during the last 3 years. The bidder should produce credential of a similar nature of completed work, with a completion certificate issued by the concerned executing authority, which should contain the value of executed work. Contractors having credentials of DI/HDPE Pipe laying works including supply of Specials and Valves but with departmental supply of DI/HDPE pipes will be eligible subject to fulfilment of above-mentioned financial criteria of credential. Below minimum dia provided in this scheme works of House Service Connection or any other works executed or under progress should not be considered as a credential. The bidder needs to provide a certificate from the employers and disclose all information, as non-disclosure may result in disqualification. Alternatively, the intending bidders should produce credentials of 2 similar nature of completed work, each of the minimum value of 25% of the estimated amount put to tender during last 5 years prior to the date of publishing of this Tender. Another option is that the intending bidders should produce credentials of one single running work of similar nature which has been completed to the extent of 75% or more and value of which is not less than the desired value i.e. at (a) above. In case of running works, only those bidders who will submit the certificate of satisfactory running work from the concerned Executive Engineer, or equivalent competent authority will be eligible for the tender. The bidder should have the requisite technical personnel and/or plants/testing machineries/equipment for all the items of works as per relevant IRC/IS codes of practice and as per BOQ and as per direction of the Engineer-In-Charge at the time of execution of work at site. The bidder should have access to or have available liquid assets (aggregate of working capital, cash-in-hand, uncommitted Bank Guarantees) and/or credit facilities not less than 10% of the estimated cost put to tender.
