Note: (i) Two runs of single core cable with one run of earth continuity conductor including PVC conduit shall be measured and paid as one length. (ii) Cutting chases for conduit, sinking of boxes and making good to wall floors etc shall deemed to be including in the unit quoted rate.

M&L for preparing newly plastered or unplastered ceiling surfaces and applying two coats of distemper oil emulsion over a coat of alkali resitant primer, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for rendering 15mm thick in two coats (10mm under layer + 5mm top layer) on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces of wall in CM (1:4), mixed with integral water proofing compound on top layer as per manufacturer's instructions and finished the surface even and fair without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed. (Note : WPC shall be measured and paid separately)

Demolition of brick work or stone masonry, built in CM including all quoins, arches, pillars etc. but excluding ashlar facing, dressed stone work and precast concrete articles, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation old surfaces of plastered or unplastered old decorated surfaces of walls including cornices, pilasters etc. by brooming down and applying one coat of distemper oil emulsion, complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out old damaged tarfelt or membran of any description including screed bed or bedding layer and removing of debris to a distance exc. 50m and n. exc. 100m and cleaning roof surfaces to remove all loose dust etc., roughening surfaces of old concrete roof by picking, sweeping clean and washing down with water using wire brush, brooming down and applying the following treatment all as directed in order of precedence as stated: (a) Brushing neat cement slury with 3.0 kg of cement per Sqm. (b) 15mm thick screed bed or bedding layer in CM (1:4) with water proofing compound as per manufacturer instruction on existing roof surface true to level. (c) Applying one coat of bituminous primer @ 0.40 Ltr/Sqm. (d) Supply and laying 3mm thick APP based polymeric membrane of approved manufactured with weight not less than 3.50 Kgs per Sqm reinforced with non-woven polyester fabric weighing not less than 160gms per Sqm having softening point not less than 15°C, having tensile strength of 650 N/Sqcm and 350 N/Sqcm in longitudinal and transverse directions respectively of the reinforced tearing strength of 180 N by torch application. Polymeric membrane shall be taken to a height of 30cm (minimum) and then inserted inside the groove of parapet wall and shall be finished by a membrane flashing. (e) Applying one coat of aluminium paint @ 0.15 Kg/Sgm over APP membrane surface. Note:- (i) Laying APP based polymeric membrane shall be done torch on method as per manufactures instructions. (ii) A minimum overlap of 100mm and 75mm should be made at the end and sides of the polymeric membrane respectively and sealed all overlaps and joints as per manufacturers instruction. (iii) APP based polymeric membrane shall be of any one of the approved makes as specified here-in-after and shall conform to specifications given in IS 16540-2017/1S 16532 2017. (iv) Contractor shall produce necessary test certificate of the manufacturer to the Engr-in-Charge before incorporation in the work. (v) Necessary independent tests shall also be carried out by the contractor without any extra cost to the Deptt as per relevant IS specifications and membranes with satisfactory test results shall only be incorporated in the work. (vi) WPC shall be measured and paid separately as 'supply only'. (vii) The work shall be executed through authorised applicators of original manufacturer only.

Taking down chowkhats with shutters (without taking off shutters from the frames) area n.exc 1.5 sqm and removing from site, complete all as specified and directed
