Repair/maintenance and servicing of oil cooled step down transformer 6 KV/433 Volt of capacity upto 2000 KVA, comprising following work services :-
(a) Disconnection of cable termination of HT & LT ends.
(b) Opening of top cover by removing nuts, bolts and all mounting accessories and conservator tanks.
(c) Cleaning all sludges from main oil tank and conservator tank and removal off the site.
(d) Servicing of tap changing gears by cleaning and polishing tapping contact points.
(e) Cleaning, polishing of serviceable bush and stud both HT/LT side and refixing the same.
(f) Replacing unserviceable stud and bush as required as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note : (i) While replacing and refixing the stud and bush, all nuts, washers and gaskets are to be replaced with new one against the quoted rate (ii) New bushes and studs required for replacement shall be measured and paid separately as 'Supply only' under respective items mentioned here-in-after.
(g) Refixing all cable terminals of HV & LV sides and transformer top cover, conservator tank in position. (h) Cleaning and heating of silica gel in breather and replacing with new silica gel to make up the reduced quantity Note: New silica gel requied for replenishing shall be measured and paid separately as 'Supply only'
(j) Servicing and testing of Bucolz Relay for smooth operation.
Note:- New silica gel required for replacement shall be measured and paid sepprately as supply only.
(1) HT side cable connection shall be made with new HT tape & M Seal Monoplast. (2) M seal monoplast required for replacement shall be measured and paid for separately as 'Supply only'. (3) The items of work mentioned here-in-after are tentative and may vary as per site requirement as assessed by the representative and the Engn-in-Charge after strip inspection and the contractor shall have no claim on that account. (4) Contractor wiil be very careful and should ensure not to enter any type of moisture in side the transformer during maintenance.

M&L for maintenance of Vacuum circuit breaker with panel of make: PASCAL, 6 kV grade, 400 to 800 Amp by auth rep of OEM including the following: -
(a)Switching off VCB and confirming that supply to incoming end is properly disconnected.
(b)Opening covers of the circuit breaker and visual checking of epoxy housing and all parts for rust and wear.
(c)Cleaning all parts of the breaker compartment with appropriate chemical to remove dust and dirt and wipping of the envelop of the vacuum interrupter and insulating material with a clean and dry cloth.
(d)Lubricating of rotary sections and moving parts, sliding surfaces, pins, coupling section etc by applying a small amount of grease/ petrolium jelly/ machine oil as applicable.
(e)Checking of PTs, CTs, control circuits, closing and tripping coil and all other parts.
(f) Replacement of parts detected defective or less reliable.
(g) Checking auxilliary supply and control voltage, control circuits and tightening of all connections.
[Note : - (i) The spares will be measured and paid separately under Prime Cost Sum. The items required for replacement will be separately approved by a BOO detailed by the Accepting Officer during execution.
(ii) The tenderer will submit current price list/ quotation of spares from the OEM and quote percentage over the rate for payment accordingly.
(iii) After servicing of VCB, Health check up reports will be submitted
(iv) The old retrieved materials will be deposited to MES store yard of AGE E/M-1]

(a)Switching off the all the incoming and confirming that supply to incoming end is properly disconnected.
(b)Opening covers of the RMU and visual checking of all parts for rust and wear.
(c)Cleaning all parts to remove dust and dirt and wipping of the envelop of the moving contacts and insulating material with a clean and dry cloth.
d) Lubricating of rotary sections and moving parts, sliding surfaces, pins, coupling section etc by applying a small amount of machine oil and applying grease for operating shaft and bearings.

[Note : - (i) The spares will be measured and paid separately under Prime Cost Sum. The items required for replacement will be separately approved by a BOO detailed by the Accepting Officer during execution.
