Excavating in trenches , n.exc 1.5 m wide and n.exc 1.5 m depth for foundation etc or for shafts, wells, cesspits ,manhole pier hole, taking out and laying of cable etc n.exc 10 sqm on plan and n.exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in any kind of soil Note : Manual excavation to be done. During excavation if any damage occured to existing cable any type/ water pipe line, it will be contractor responsibilty to get it repair and make functional by providing jointing kit etc without any extra cost. Contractor has to repair it within 24 hrs so that essential service can not be effected due to such damage.If contractor fails to repair it within 24 hrs penalty @ Rs 500/- will be charged to contractor. In this GE decision will be final, conclusive and binding.

Returning, Filling in, including Spreading, Levelling, Watering and Well Ramming in Layers not exc. 250mm in Soft/Loose Soil, complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated Materials (Soils) not exc. 50.00 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.50 mtr above the Starting Point in Soil, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Sand Cushioning (dry) in Trenches for protec-tion of UG Cables (below, above and around the UG Cable laid in Trenches) of 230mm Spread thick -ness and consolidated (punned) upto 180mm thickness, complete all as specified and as directed. (NOTE : For the purpose of Payment, Punned thick-ness of Sand Cushioning only shall be Measured and Paid ).

M&L for fly ash bricks locally available laid dry width wise across the line of cable in trenches for protection of UG cable, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supplying and fixing Galvanised mild steel pipe /tubing, light grade complete with all fittings of 80 mm bore dia, laid in trenches / under roads, fixed to poles/ walls with Mild steel clamps , bolts , nuts and washers as in cable protection complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying and fixing Galvanised mild steel pipe /tubing, light grade complete with all fittings of 50 mm bore dia, laid in trenches / under roads, fixed to poles/ walls with Mild steel clamps , bolts , nuts and washers as in cable protection complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying and fixing Galvanised mild steel pipe /tubing, light grade complete with all fittings of 100 mm bore dia, laid in trenches / under roads, fixed to poles/ walls with Mild steel clamps , bolts , nuts and washers as in cable protection complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Boring of horizontal hole under road, pavement, hardstanding suitable for passing through up to 80 mm bore, complete all as specified. Note : (i) One run of boring of horizontal hole will be measured as one unit length. (ii) All the precaution to be taken by the contractor before drilling the bore. The contractor has to take plan of existing cables any type and pipe line in existing area before drilling the bore. (iii) Any damage to existing cables any type and pipe line in the way of drilling the bore will be repaired and make good by the contractor. No extra cost will be paid on this account. (iv) Contractor has to get the survey of route, length and depth for boring before quoting the rate.

Material and labour for earthing complete with Galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6 mm mm buried directly in ground (Earth pit not less than 2.25m below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level, connected to GI strip 32x6 mm as earth lead by means of bolt, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel, upto 7.5m length, earth strip protected by and including 40 mm dia GI pipe (light grade) and connected to main test point or body of pole/pannel or lightening arrester of main controlling switch as directed including concrete pit in PCC (1:3:6) type C1 , Precast RCC (1:2:4) Type B1 cover slab of size 54x54x5 cm reinforced with 8 mm dia TMT bars @ 100 mm C/C both ways with one handle for lifting made out of 10 mm dia TMT bar embedded in precast cover slab, funnel, wire mesh, 20 mm bore GI Pipe (Medium Grade) for watering, Charcoal and salt in alternate layers of 15 cm (Compacted Thickness) around the earth electrode including necessary excavation, earth work in any type of soil and disposal of spoil to a distance n.exc 50 m and necessary testing complete all as shown in Electrical Plate No 3 of SSR Part-I. NOTE : 1. The unit rare includes for protectionh GI pipe of 40mm and watering pipe of 20mm bore including excavation for earth pit in any type of soil/disintegrate rock. 2. Contractor has to bring agriculture soil from outside of defence land and fill in earth pit to acheive desired result as the soil resisitivity is very high. 3. The cost of GI strip of 32x6mm including protection pipe, from top of earth plate upto 7.5 meter above/below ground level is deemed to be included in the unit rate. 4. All the joints in GI strip and connectgion with earth plate to be welded through brazing and in addition by providing double brass nut bolt and washer. 5.Costing of welding and nut bolts are deemed to be included in the unit rate

Dismantling existing LT panels of any type, any size carefully for reuse including necessary excavation demolition of concrete,disconnecting of earthing,cable, taking out burn out lugs,MCCBs,bus bars,insulators and other connected works ,surface levelling etc. and reinstall the LT panels after repair/replacement of burn out lugs,MCCBs,bus bars,insulators, wiring etc including re-connection of earthing,cables with new foundation of panels, brick works,PCC works etc complete including testing all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.(NOTE : Earth Work,brick works, foundation work, PCC, lugs, switch gear, metering devices, bus bar,insulators, cable for wiring etc will be Measured and Paid separately under relevant Items as supply only).

Labour only for disconnecting, isolating and taking out burned/unserviceable lugs, switchgear, metering devices, wiring, bus bar etc from any type of pannel/board and replacing the same with new ones including testing completee al as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note (i): New parts will be measured and paid separately under respective items as supply only. (ii). The item will not be operated simultaniously alongwith the item No 30.00

M & L for cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections includings nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot drilling holes for bolts, in any shape of size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of aluminium paint including preparation of surfaces complete all as specified and directed

M&L for cement concrete ( 1:3:6) type C-2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in pole foundation, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified

M&L for cement concrete ( 1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in coping of pole including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating, necessary formwork as directed complete all as specified

M/L brick work with flyash bricks old size straight or curved on plan to any radius exc 6m mean radius build in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 15mm thick in CM 1:4 rendering on brick or concrete surfaces finished fair and even on wall complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Hardcore of gauge n exc. 63 mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers n exc. 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface as specified and directed.

M&L SS pasivated Screw Bolts (Machine Made) with Hexagonal Head at one End and screwed the other Ends, each screwed End to be fitted with Washers and One Hexagonal Nut, diameter of Shank 5 to 10mm Length of Bolt exc. 50mm complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of existing surface of LT Panel by srapping down peeled off old paint, cleaning etc and applying Two coat of Siemens Grey Paint by using spray machine and Black paint on Angle Iron over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge.

Supply and Fix Metal cable route indicator of height 750 mm MS Flat of 40 mm x 4 mm with Circular 100 mm diameter MS Sheet of minimun thickness 3 mm duly engraved " LT CABLE" including Aluminium paint over it and to be fixed 150 mm below ground level with PCC (1:3:6) (40 mm aggregate) of size 250x250x300 mm all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Taking down/dismantling of unserviceable LT panels complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
