M&L for preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc., complete all as specified and directed.

M&L applying evenly a prime / tack coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion SS1 confirming to IS : 8887 at a rate of application of 0.70 - 1.0 kg/sqm on surface of WMM / WBM as specified in Table 500-3 of MoRTH Specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L premixed bituminous macadam over primed surface of road using paving bitumen VG-30, laid/rolled by 8 to 12 tonne capacity roller and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less), binder contents of premixed macadam shall be 4% by weight of total mix (Design Mix), complete all as specified and directed.

M&L applying 25mm thick mastic asphalt consisting of an intimate homogeneous mixture of mineral filler, well graded fine and coarse aggregate industrial grade 85/25 bitumen as per IS : 73 of 2006 cooked at 170 degree to 200 degree centigrade laid hot trowelled and floated by means of wooden float laid over tack coat of VG-10 grade bitumen conforming to IS : 73 @ 0.3 - 0.4 Kg/Sqm on bituminous surface as specified in Table 500-5 of MoRTH Specification for Road & Bridge Works 2013 using mechanical sprayer over prepared base, bitumen mastic after spreading and while still hot in plastic condition shall spread over with bituminous precoated fine aggregate of size 20mm @ 0.005 Cum per 10 Sqm mixed with 0.17 Kg per 10 Sqm of bitumen grade VG-40 for anti skidding including all material, labour, tools and plants all as specified and directed as per Design mix IRC 107-2013, complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation over areas n.exc 1.5m depth and getting out in soft/loose soil, complete all as specified and directed. Note : Rates shall be quoted includes for dressing/trimming sides and levelling, grading and ramming of bottoms of excavation.

M&L 300 mm thick Kankar or laterite, with mix of fly ash, clinker & stone dust in the proportion of 1:3:6 (i.e. 10% of fly ash, 30% of clinker & 60% of stone dust) laying in layers n.exc 10cm thick in each layer, watering, ramming and compacted with vibratory / power roller 8 to 12 tonne roller to get Min CBR value 8% and Dry density 97% placed at required and gradient, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Soling with 150 mm thick spread thickness (or sub base) with broken boulders or quarried stone of size as per MoRTH specifications, inter stices filled, surface formed and rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber with power roller of capacity exc 8 tonne n.exc 12 tonne, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n. exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repairs metal tubular delineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 02 Nos 65 mm dia highly reflective reflectors and rectangular reflector of 70mm x 23mm fixed on both sides of guide post and made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 600 mm height above GL duly powder coated and thermo plastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25 mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150 x 150 x 300 mm) type B1, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repairs cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 120mm x 110mm x 50mm with PAMA striplens reflector fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions, complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material to a distance exc 250m but n.exc 500m and depositing where directed at a level n exc. 1.5 m above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed.
