M&L total 15cm thick (in two layers of 7.5cm each) (compacted thickness) WBM, with coarse aggregates of granite trap and basalt grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or grading 3 (50 to 20mm size) spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber with 8 to 10 tonne power roller required, complete all as specified and directed. [Note : (i) The finished surface tolerances to be as per Table 900-1 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge Works 2013. (iii) Stack measurement of WBM materials brought at site shall be entered in MB as "Not to be abstracted" before payment. (iv) Payment shall be made after submission of approved mixing qty of WBM materials from GE, & Road Roller Register.]

Preparing of surfaces of unsurfaced Water Bound Macadam (WBM) or Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and including M&L and applying evenly a prime coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion SS1 confirming to IS : 8887 at a rate of application of 0.7-1.0 kg/sqm on surface of WMM / WBM as specified in Table 500-3 of MoRTH Specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer, complete all as specified and directed.

Preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and M&L and applying evenly a prime/ tack coat of Bitumen VG-10 grade conforming to IS : 73-2006 at a rate of application of 0.3-0.4 kg/sqm on bituminous surface as specified in Table 500-5 of MoRTH Specification for Road and Bridge Works 2013, using mechanical sprayer, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L premixed bituminous macadam using paving bitumen VG-30, laid/rolled by 8 to 12 tonne capacity roller and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less including preparation of area before laying the Macadam with mechanical paver ), binder contents of premixed macadam shall be 4% by weight of total mix (Design Mix), complete all as specified and directed. [Note : (i) Exact qty of binder to be used shall be ascertain by design mix. (ii) Minimum 4% of binder shall be used. However, in case more than 4% of binder content is required as per design mix, the same shall be provided by the contractor at no extra cost to the dept. (iii) Design mix will be approved by GE before executing of work.]

M&L and applying 25mm thick mastic asphalt consisting of an intermate homogeneous mixture of mineral filler, well graded fine and coarse aggregate industrial grade 85/25 bitumen meeting the requirement given in Table as mentioned in SSR Part-I, grade of bitumen as per IS : 73 of 2006 cooked at 170 degree to 200 degree centigrade laid hot trowelled and floated by means of wooden float laid, bitumen mastic after spreading and while still hot in plastic condition shall spread over with bituminous precoated fine aggregate of size 20mm @ 0.005 Cum per 10 Sqm mixed with 0.17 Kg per 10 Sqm of industrial bitumen grade 85/25 Industrial bitumen for anti skidding including all material, labour, tools and plants, complete all as specified and directed. [Note : (i) Work shall be executed after approval of design mix of mastic asphalt by GE. (ii) Calibration of Hot Mix Plant shall be submitted to Engr-in-Charge for approval. (iii) Payment shall be made to Contractor after submission of approved design mix, bitumen extraction report & calibration report.]

M&L preparing bituminous surfaces of road by cleaning and preparing the road surface and making good the road marking location and marking / applying 2.5mm thick white or golden yellow reflective hot thermoplastic road marking paint (Hot application) for centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n. exc 10cm wide on roads pavements confirming to ASTMD 36 / BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine through modern propelled road marking machine in a layer all as per manufacturers instruction and use of all ingredients such as binder, glass beads, titanium dioxide, calcium carbonate, interfiller thermoplastic required for glass beads per sqm by incorporating the white/ yellow beads for reflectivity in 100 mm width, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs for Cat's Eye pavement marker two way reflective of minimum size 110mm x 120mm x 24 mm with aluminium alloy body with micro prismatic lens type technology with reflective lens to be fixed epoxy resin adhesive after cleaning the surface and reflective panels Amber/Red/White the help adhesive and screws, complete all as specified and directed.

Excavating over areas, n.exc 1.5 m deep and getting out in Soft/ loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Moorum/red bajri filling in floors or pavings, laid in layers n exc. 15 cm thick, spread, levelled and rolled and compacted including watering with 8 to 12 tonne power roller, complete all as specified and directed. [Note : (i) Measurement shall be taken in consolidation volume in finished work. (ii) Moorum shall be compacted minimum 95% proctor density.]

Removing excavated material (soils) n.exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5m above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed. [Total Qty : 162.00 (Part-I) + 52.20 (Part-II) = 214.20]

M&L TMT Mild steel bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with the including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Reinforced Cement Concrete M-25 (nominal mix) using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in slab supported on wall, beams and columns in floors, roofs, landings, balconies, canopies, deck slabs and in shelves and the like etc. including demolition of old unserviceable concrete, complete all as specified and directed.

Use and waste of Formwork to soffits of suspended slabs such as roof slabs, floor slabs, landings horizontal or sloping similar work, not exceeding 200mm thick, and flat fair finished surfaces, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L 75mm thick Plain Cement Concrete 1:4:8, type D2, using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation filling and mass concrete including demolition of old unserviceable concrete, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Pre-Polished Chequered Cement Concrete tiles 30cm x 30cm x 25cm thick, with grey cement and no pigment set, jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry in floors including 20mm thick screed bed or bedding of Cement Mortar 1:6 including demolition of old unserviceable tile with bedding plaster, complete all as specified and directed.

PART-II : AREA DRAINAGE

Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5 mtr wide and not exc 1.5 mtr in depth for foundation etc or for soft, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier hoes, etc n.exc 10 sqm on plan and n.exc 1.5 mtr in depth and getting out soft/loose soil, complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25cm, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L broken stone or boulders hardcore n.exc 63mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers n.exc 15cm thick, watered and rammed / rolled to a true surface, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Plain cement concrete in foundation filling and mass concrete type D2,1:4:8 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate), complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Plain cement concrete in surface channels and drains type B1,1:2:4 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate), complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for fixing only old size brick work Subclass 'B' brick, straight or curved on plan exc. 6m mean radius, build in Cement Mortar 1:6 including demolition of old unserviceable brickwork, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L old size brick work with fly ash bricks, straight or curved on plan exc. 6m mean radius, build in Cement Mortar 1:4 including demolition of old unserviceable brickwork, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Extra forming 40 cm inner girth fair finished drains or channels i.e. exc 30cm inner girth in cement concrete using extra cement including forms, moulds, mitred / stopped ends etc., complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Plain Cement Concrete in 1:2:4, type B1, using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in coping including formed work, complete all as specified and directed.

Rendering 15mm thick in Cement Mortar 1:4 on fair faces of brickwork or concrete surfaces and finished the surfaces even and smooth, complete all as specified and directed.
