M&L in replacement of cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for straight through heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 50 sqmm to 95 sqmm, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for scrubbing out old paint, rust etc and making smooth and even surface then painting of four pole structure by one coat of aluminium paint including steel structure 11 meter long steel tubular pole and mild steel work i.e. cross arms, bracing , clamps with painting yellow and black strip 30 cm wide up to 1.5m height from the copping level etc., complete all as specified and directed. Note : Contractor or his authorised representative should take necessary shutdown before painting work and should be present at sited during the work.

All as per item No 5.00 above but for two pole structure.

All as per item No 5.00 above but for single pole with cross arms.

M&L for General Servicing & Testing and calibration of 11 KV Indoor Vacuum Circuit Breaker (Cleaning, oiling, greasing, IR Value check, Electrical and mechanical operation check & adjustment, primary injection of CTs to check the TMS of relay and time coordination ) including checking auxiliary supply and control voltage, physical checking of breakers, epoxy housing, carryout physical verification of any wear and tear in breaker and rectified it, checking fixed and moving contracts, spring charging motor, control circuit & tighten the connections and close or trip coil, clean the breaker compartment through lubricate the breaker, apply grease / petroleum jelly on required part, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for fault finding and repair / replacement of defective control wiring of tripping circuit, closing circuit, potential transformers, ampere meter, voltmeter, current transformers, thermostate & heating element circuits of indoor type 11 KV VCB using with 2.5 sqmm copper flexible PVC insulated wire and suitable size of copper lugs and thimbles and connector, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of CT 11 KV epoxy type ratio 200-100/5 Amps, accuracy Class-I single pole (Three core type) fixing on existing 11 KV panel including necessary connections, any modification required, addition / alteration required for fixing CT in existing 11 KV panel, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for replacement of indoor type Potential transformer of 11KV 3 Phase, input voltage 11 KV, out put voltage -110 volts complete as per existing specification and complete all as directed.

M&L for closing coils suitalbe for 11 KV VCB of make Areva (Alstom) indoor door type, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for triping coil suitalbe for 11 KV VCB of make Areva (Alstom) indoor door type, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix of limit switch suitable for 11 KV VCB of Schnieder make, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Rarchet gear assembly sutable for spring charging mechanism of 11 KV VCB of make: Areva (Alstom), complete all as specified and directed.

Suplly, fix, testing and commissioning of step down rectifier panel AC 230 volt in to DC 110 V output for controlling external input voltage for relays in 11 KV VCB, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for painting of 11 KV VCB with super enameled paint after scapping the existing paint, complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning of area of Sub stn, 11 KV yards, Transformer yard,4/2 poles structures including cutting of shrubs & bushes all as directed at site whenever required at site.

M&L for painting of chain link fencing and cover fencing of transformer (where required) any mesh, size and type by means of two coat of aluminium paint including line wires, MS flat angle and barbed wire by means of two coat of bituminous paint of sub stn including, complete all as specified and directed. Note: Contractor or his authorised representative should take necessary shutdown before painting work and should be present at sited during the work.

S&F of switches air break, gang operated with 09 Nos insulators outdoor type, triple pole, mechanically operated, mounted on insulator and steel frame, with operating mechanism worked from ground level (GL), suitable for vertcal installation intalltion, Single brak, provided with locking arrangement consisting of MS channel, HT Post type insulator copper alloy, high Pressure, Assembly operating rod 25 mm dia GI pipe heavy grade for operating from 1.20m above GL complete confirming to IS -1318 of1972 rated voltage 11 KV & for current rating 400 Amp, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F of drop-out fuse unit, in replacement expulsion type for out door air break gang operated switch, single pole mounted on and including insulators and jumpers for 11 KV working pressure fixed to and including MS channel with nuts, bolts and washers etc., systhetic bounded fuse tube complete with line cap suitable for current carrying capacity upto 100Amps, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for repairing of damaged / unserviceable gang operate devices of 11 KV such as male & female contacts, flexible jumpers, MS jumper carrier and back connector plate incl cleaning and greasing of complete contacts of GOD unit, DO fuse unit and reluging of aluminium conductors connected to top & bottom contacts of GOD and DO units incl. welding and threading of operating rod mechanism complete making serviceable all as directed by Engr-in-Charge., complete all as specified and directed. Note: Rates for Welding machine, threading arrangements, grease, jumper, nut bolts tightening and binding wire, Aluminium conductor wire deemed to be included in quoted rates.

M&L for repairs to leaking transformers at site up to 400 KVA by opening the top cover, draning the transformer oil to the level just below the bushing, replacing the all four bushing with connecting rod, replacing the oil gaskets of bushings on HT & LT side, replacing the top oil gasket, reassebling, testing etc., complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for transportation, loading and unloading of transformer from MES power house to any other location in Kalimpong Mil station not more than 5 KM distance and returning back unserviceable transformer to MES power house, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for disconnecting the electric connection from over head line with care and removing the faulty step down transformer from two / four pole structure / platform and opening for inspection of Engr-in-Charge, fault finding and minor repairing/ servicing of transformer and repair/ replacement of worn out spares as directed at site and cleaning the transformer body thoroughly with cotton and sand paper and reassembling, refilling of transformer oil, installation the same on its existing position connecting and testing complete 11/0.433 KV transformer of 25 to400 KVA capacity, complete all as specified and directed. Notes: 1. The material required for replacement of faulty parts will be measured and paid separately under relevant item. 2. The cost for fault checking/ fault finding, servicing and minor repairing including minor parts is deemed to be included in quoted rate. 3. New transformer oil topping up after repair will be measured and paid separately against relevant item. 4. New items such as HT/LT bush insulators, HT/LT bush rod of brass, rubber gasket will be measured under respective items.

Material and labour for loading of the transformer and transportation upto Factory (Siliguri) for repairinfg, after repair return back to existing lcation, complete all as specified and directed. Note: Vehicle transportaion deemed to be included in quoted rate.

Material and labour for dismantling of the transformer after opening the external metal cover and lifting the core and winding assembly complete survey and preparation of survey report, all as specified and directed.

Material and labour of new copper wire for HV (11 KV) coils, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rewinding charges of the above HV (11 KV) copper coils including coil forma charges, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L re-insulation charges of the existing LV (433) volt copper strip wire with supply of high quality insulation paper after through cleaning of existing insulation and washing it through CTC, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rewinding charges of the above LV (433 volts) copper coils including coil forma charges, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply of insulating material like; Glass tube, Bakelite Tube, glass tape, pre-compress board, crape paper, press phan paper cotton tape, varnish etc., complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for re-assembling of both HV & LV coils after core binding and reconnection of coils and drying the assembly through heating and testing, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for box up the above transformer after cleaning of tank and refitting of Bushing and testing complete.

Supply only of new transformer oil for topping up, complete all as specified and directed. Make: Power Oil / Castrol / HP / Savita Oil

Checking of old transformer oil and re-filling the same to transformer after centrifuging of oil with filtration machine. The machine continuously will run round the clock till obtaining the result of oil upto 50 KV die electric strength in 2.5 mm gap, complete all as specified and directed. Notes: a) The filtration of transformer oil of various transformers is to be carried out at different sub stations of Kalimpong Mil area and Contractor should check the feasibility how to filter the oil of transformer before coating rate and if any additional pipe or material is required to reach the transformer, cost for the same is deemed to be included. b) The report before filtration and after filtration to be submitted by contractor in the approved format. c) The filtration is to be carried out on line ie without switching off supply. d) Oil for topping up will be measured and paid seperately under respective items of Sch 'A'.

M&L for cleaning of old painting surfaces by cleaning agents including removing dirt, dust, oil, grease etc of transformer capacity 75 KVA to 400 KVA at different sub station and providing two coats of synthetic enameled spray paint including writing SM/MES/Machine Numbers and date of painting, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Earthing complete with GI earth plate electrode of size 600 mm x 600 mm x 6 mm thick buried directly to ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 Mtr below the ground level with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.65 Mtr below normal ground level connected to GI strip 32 x 6 mm size and earthing lead protected with 50 mm bore GI pipe, light grade, filling around with charcoal dust and salt including excavation, returning, filling of earth and disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr and connected to GI strip by means of GI nuts, bolts and washers strip connected to earth plate including chamber PCC (1:3:6) type C1, using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate in concrete pit pre-cast RCC 40 mm thick reinforced with 6 mm dia round at 75 mm C/C both way with 12 mm dia mild steel plain bar lifting handle 2 Nos funnel with wire mesh 20 mm dia GI pipe light grade watering pipe and frame work complete all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I 2009 including testing on completion, complete all as specified and directed.
