Excavating in trenches , n.exc 1.5 m wide and n.exc 1.5 m depth for foundation etc or for shafts, wells, cesspits ,manhole pier hole, taking out and laying of cable etc n.exc 10 sqm on plan and n.exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in any kind of soil Note : Manual excavation to be done. During excavation if any damage occured to existing cable any type/ water pipe line, it will be contractor responsibilty to get it repair and make functional by providing jointing kit etc without any extra cost. Contractor has to repair it within 24 hrs so that essential service can not be effected due to such damage.If contractor fails to repair it within 24 hrs penalty @ Rs 500/- will be charged to contractor. In this GE decision will be final, conclusive and binding.

Returning, Filling in, including Spreading, Levelling, Watering and Well Ramming in Layers not exc. 250mm in Soft/Loose Soil, complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated Materials (Soils) not exc. 50.00 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.50 mtr above the Starting Point in Soil, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Sand Cushioning (dry) in Trenches for protec-tion of UG Cables (below, above and around the UG Cable laid in Trenches) of 230mm Spread thick -ness and consolidated (punned) upto 180mm thickness, complete all as specified and as directed. (Note : For the purpose of Payment, Punned thickness of Sand Cushioning only shall be Measured and Paid ).

M&L for fly ash bricks locally available laid dry width wise across the line of cable in trenches for protection of UG cable, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supplying and fixing Galvanised mild steel pipe /tubing, light grade complete with all fittings of 80 mm bore dia, laid in trenches / under roads, fixed to poles/ walls with Mild steel clamps , bolts , nuts and washers as in cable protection complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying and fixing Galvanised mild steel pipe /tubing, light grade complete with all fittings of 50 mm bore dia, laid in trenches / under roads, fixed to poles/ walls with Mild steel clamps , bolts , nuts and washers as in cable protection complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Boring of horizontal hole under road, pavement, hardstanding suitable for passing through up to 80 mm bore, complete all as specified. Note : (i) One run of boring of horizontal hole will be measured as one unit length. (ii) All the precaution to be taken by the contractor before drilling the bore. The contractor has to take plan of existing cables any type and pipe line in existing area before drilling the bore. (iii) Any damage to existing cables any type and pipe line in the way of drilling the bore will be repaired and make good by the contractor. No extra cost will be paid on this account. (iv) Contractor has to get the survey of route, length and depth for boring before quoting the rate.

Material and labour for earthing complete with Galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6 mm mm buried directly in ground (Earth pit not less than 2.25m below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level, connected to GI strip 32x6 mm as earth lead by means of bolt, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel, upto 7.5m length, earth strip protected by and including 40 mm dia GI pipe (light grade) and connected to main test point or body of pole/pannel or lightening arrester of main controlling switch as directed including concrete pit in PCC (1:3:6) type C1 , Precast RCC (1:2:4) Type B1 cover slab of size 54x54x5 cm reinforced with 8 mm dia TMT bars @ 100 mm C/C both ways with one handle for lifting made out of 10 mm dia TMT bar embedded in precast cover slab, funnel, wire mesh, 20 mm bore GI Pipe (Medium Grade) for watering, Charcoal and salt in alternate layers of 15 cm (Compacted Thickness) around the earth electrode including necessary excavation, earth work in any type of soil and disposal of spoil to a distance n.exc 50 m and necessary testing complete all as shown in Electrical Plate No 3 of SSR Part-I. NOTE : 1. The unit rare includes for protectionh GI pipe of 40mm and watering pipe of 20mm bore including excavation for earth pit in any type of soil/disintegrate rock. 2. Contractor has to bring agriculture soil from outside of defence land and fill in earth pit to acheive desired result as the soil resisitivity is very high. 3. The cost of GI strip of 32x6mm including protection pipe, from top of earth plate upto 7.5 meter above/below ground level is deemed to be included in the unit rate. 4. All the joints in GI strip and connectgion with earth plate to be welded through brazing and in addition by providing double brass nut bolt and washer. 5.Costing of welding and nut bolts are deemed to be included in the unit rate

Supply and Fix Metal cable route indicator of height 750 mm MS Flat of 40 mm x 4 mm with Circular 100 mm diameter MS Sheet of minimun thickness 3 mm duly engraved " LT CABLE" including Aluminium paint over it and to be fixed 150 mm below ground level with PCC (1:3:6) (40 mm aggregate) of size 250x250x300 mm all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S & F sheet metal enclosure for MCB, DB, TPN 240 Volts, 100 Amps rated busbar, Confirming to IS as per IEC 61439-3, 4 way Double door enclosure made up of CRCA sheet steel, RAL 9003 powder coated, IP 43 , IK 09 including fixing the DB box flush in wall of any type and making good the distrubed surface to match as the existing with all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

S&F 415 Volt 10KA 'C' curve miniature circuit breaker (MCB) MCB TPN of 63 Amps poles and currenty carrying capacity in the DB complete with connection testing and commissioning complete all as specified and directed.

S&F MCB SP, 5 to 32 Amps, 'C' curve, breakinh capacity 10kA, 240 Volts, 50 Hz including necessry incoming and out going electric connection with suitable size of copper lugs etc connection complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for steel tubular poles complete with cast iron base palate, final taper plug bolts, nuts & screws as specified type 410 SP-31, 9.0 meter long including painting all external exposed steel surfaces with two coats of aliminium paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer and all internal surfaces and external surfaces in contact with concrete with two coats of black bitumenous paint complete all as specified and as directed including taking down old existing concrete poles / struts any size after demolition of foundation and depositing / stackingat a place where directed within 5kM distance from the work site complete allas directed.The remaining external position shall be painted with two coat of aluminium paint including numbering to pole complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. (Note:- Earth work, PCC work, shall be measured and paid separately.)

M&L Street Light Fittings Bracket, fabricated from GI Pipe 40mm Bore (dia), Light Grade, 1.00 METRE long, bend to required shape and fixing with and including Mild Steel Flat Iron Clamps 40X5mm of suitable Length, 2 No. Nuts, Bolts, Washers, etc., to Pole, applying Painting with One Coat of Red Oxide Zinc Chrome Primer and over Two Coats of Aluminium Paint to Mild Steel Works including Taking down old unserviceable Street Light Fittings Bracket, complete all as specified and as directed.
