Materials and labour for sand filling around the cable with approved quality coarse sand for sand cushioning of Under ground cable including spreading and punning down to 18 cm thickness complete all as specified and as directed.(Compacted thickness shall be measured)

Supply and laying fly ash bricks best quality, laid in trenches, perpandicular to U/G cable for cable protection complete all as specified.

Laying only old bricks obtained from item No 02 perpandicular to U/G cable for cable protection complete all as specified.

Returning, filling in, of soil including spreading leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm complete all as specified and directed .

Removing excavated material to a distance n.exc 50M and deposited/ spreaded where directed at a level n. exc 1.5 M above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed .

M & L for Boring of horizontal hole under road, pavement, hardstanding suitable for passing through up to 80 mm bore, complete all as specified. Note : (i) One run of boring of horizontal hole will be measured as one unit length. (ii) All the precaution to be taken by the contractor before drilling the bore. The contractor has to take plan of existing cables any type and pipe line in existing area before drilling the bore. (iii) Any damage to existing cables any type and pipe line in the way of drilling the bore will be repaired and make good by the contractor. No extra cost will be paid on this account. (iv) Contractor has to get the survey of route, length and depth for boring before quoting the rate.

Supplying and fixing Galvanised mild steel pipe /tubing, light grade complete with all fittings of 80 mm bore dia, laid in trenches / under roads, fixed to poles/ walls with Mild steel clamps , bolts , nuts and washers as in cable protection complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying and fixing Galvanised mild steel pipe /tubing, light grade complete with all fittings of 50 mm bore dia, laid in trenches / under roads, fixed to poles/ walls with Mild steel clamps , bolts , nuts and washers as in cable protection complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for earthing complete with Galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6 mm buried directly in ground (Earth pit not less than 2.25m below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level, connected to GI strip of size 32x6 mm as earth lead by means of bolt, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel, upto 7.5m length, earth strip protected by and including 40 mm dia GI pipe (light grade) and connected to main test point or body of pole/pannel or lightening arrester of main controlling switch as directed including concrete pit in PCC (1:3:6) type C1 , Precast RCC (1:2:4) Type B1 cover slab of size 54x54x5 cm reinforced with 8 mm dia TMT bars @ 100 mm C/C both ways with one handle for lifting made out of 10 mm dia TMT bar embedded in precast cover slab, funnel, wire mesh, 20 mm bore GI Pipe (Medium Grade) for watering, Charcoal and salt in alternate layers of 15 cm (Compacted Thickness) around the earth electrode including necessary excavation, earth work in any type of soil and disposal of spoil to a distance n.exc 50 m and necessary testing complete all as shown in Electrical Plate No 3 of SSR Part-I. NOTE : 1. The unit rare includes for protectionh GI pipe of 40mm and watering pipe of 20mm bore including excavation for earth pit in any type of soil/disintegrate rock. 2. Contractor has to bring agriculture soil from outside of defence land and fill in earth pit to acheive desired result as the soil resisitivity is very high. 3. The cost of GI strip of 4mm including protection pipe, from top of earth plate upto 7.5 meter above/below ground level is deemed to be included in the unit rate. 4. All the joints in GI wire and connectgion with earth plate to be welded through brazing and in addition by providing double brass nut bolt and washer. 5.Costing of welding and nut bolts are deemed to be included in the unit rate

Supply and fixing copper lug suitable of 25 Sqmm copper cable all as specified and directed

M&L for detecting of fault in 1100V (E) LT cable of any size , 3½ core laid in trenches/ducts with the help of electronic fault locating machine comprising of surge generator, echo fault locator with high frequency distance calculator etc and exposing the cable fault, removal of deteriorated portion of cable, treating the cable including making it ready for jointing work complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: - (i) The quoted rate shall deemed to include for the cost of earthwork excavation as required.(ii) Cable if replaced & cost of Jointing kit shall be measured & paid separately.

Supply & fixing Busbar chamber, wall mounted, capacity 630 Amp, 4way, 415 volt, 4 Nos equal copper bar complete all as specified and as directed including taking down the existing one..

Supply & Fixing Automatic transfer switch of 250 Amp, 4 pole, 415 Volt , 50 HZ, with enclosure and autmatic/manual setting and complete protection, including connection with the existing cables and taking out old ATS complete all as specified and directed by Eng in Charge.
