Hangar floor: Epoxy Underlay 3.0mm( Nitoflor EU5) + Heavy duty polyurethane based flow applied,2mm thick floor topping ( Nitoflor SL 2000 UB) (total - 5mm thick approx.) Followed by application of UV resistant Aliphatic PU Top coat Trafficguard Wear Course. 1. Epoxy Underlay : Nitoflor EU5 is designed for application in the range of 3.0 mm A) Surface Preparation: It is essential that Nitoflor EU5 is applied to sound, clean and dry surfaces in order that maximum bond strength is achieved between the substrate and the flooring system. All dust and debris should be removed prior to application of the product. constructive solutions New concrete floors: Should be at least 28 days old with a maximum moisture content not exceeding 5%. Laitance deposits on new concrete floors are best removed by light grit blasting, mechanical scabbling or grinding. B. Epoxy Underlay: Providing mixing and laying to the designated area the epoxy underlay, Nitoflor EU5 consists of special resins and graded aggregates formulated to withstand chemical attack and impactshock. Shall be supplied as a 3 component system comprising resin base, resin hardener and fillers. When correctly laid Nitoflor EU5 will provide a surface ready to receive applications of other Fosroc flooring systems. Epoxy Underlay shall have mix density 1.80 - 1.85 g/cc, Pot life 115 minutes ,achieve a minimum compressive strength of 60 N/mm^2 (As per ASTM C579)in 7 days, Flexural strength of 22 N/mm^2 (As per ASTM 6319 part 3and Tensile strength of 11N/mm^2 @ 7 days(As per ASTM 6319 part 7,Tensile Modulus =880 N/mm2(As per ASTM 6319 part 3, Water absorption- Nil( as per (BS 1881 Part 122);Curing characteristics @ 35ºC is Initial hardness 16 hrs,Full cure-7 days;;Pull of Adhesion Strength Crushing Resistance (BS 8204 part 1) is 2.2 N/mm2. The epoxy underlay shall achieve a minimum compressive strength of 61 N/mm2 as per ASTM C579. Flexural strength of 22 N/mm2 and Tensile strength of 10N/mm2 @ 7 days as per BS 6319. The underlay shall have nil water absorption when tested as per BS1881 Part 122. The adhesion strength ofthe epoxy underlay shall be greater than the tensile strength of concrete. 2. Heavy duty polyurethane based flow applied, 2mm thick floor topping-SL 2000 UB a). Priming: All surfaces treated with Nitoflor SL2000 should be primed with Nitoprime 25, a solvent based epoxy resin primer designed for maximum adhesion to substrates. Add the entire contents of the hardener tin to the base tin and mix the two primer components thoroughly for at least 2 minutes - under no circumstances should part mixing be considered. Once mixed, the primer should be applied immediately to the prepared substrate using stiff brushes or rollers. The primer should be well ‘scrubbed’ into the substrate to ensure full coverage, but care should be taken to avoid over application or ‘ponding’. Allow the primer to dry before proceeding to the next stage, do not proceed whilst the primer is ‘tacky’ as this will lead to unsightly marks in the finished surface. Properties of Trafficgaurd Wear Course: Pot life at 27°C -Min.2 hours, Initial cure at 30°C : 16 hours, Final cure at 30°C : 5 days, Flash point : 35°C, Crack Bridging ability (ASTMC1305) : Pass, Wet film thickness : 100 - 200 microns/coat, Adhesive bond strength (ASTM D 4541) : 1.5N/mm2 Weathering (30 days)ASTM G53: No change in original appearance, Corrosion resistance(30 days) (ASTM B117) : No change in original appearance, Humidity resistance(30 days) (Water fog exposer): No change in original appearance, Humidity resistance(30 days) (Water fog exposer) : No change,Abrasion Resistance : 45mg (ASTM D4060, CS17, 1Kg load 1000 cycles).

3. Expansion Joints: (a) Surface preparation: clean the surface and remove any dust, unsound or contaminated material, plaster, oil, paint, grease, corrosion, deposit or algae, oil and grease deposit should be removed by mechanical means. (b) Priming: prime sealing slot surface with primer 7E using a clean dry brush colpor 200 must be applied between 30 minutes and 2 hours after priming. (c) PU sealant: providing, mixing and laying cold applied, high performance, pitch free, two part polyurethane sealant colpor 200PF complies with US federal specifications SS-s200E:1984 and british standard 5212: 1990-types N,F and FB, it has specific gravity of 1.45 g/cc, movement accomodation factor (IRC-57-2006): butt joints 30%, chemical cure, full cure: : 5-7 days @ 25degree celcius hardness sore A at 25 degree C: 10+/-2, including priming of the substrate with primer 7E using a clen dry brush, fixing of backer rod with straight edge finish complete all as specified and as dirceted. Health and safety: colpor 200 PF, primer 7E and nitoflor sol may cause sensitisation by inhaling and skin contact. weat suitable protective clothing, gloves and eye/face protection. Barrier creams provide additional skin protection. Should accidental skin contact occur, remove immedietely with a resin removing cream, followed by soap and water. Do not use solvent. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immedietly with plenty of clean water and seek medical advise. Use only in well well ventilated areas.
