Lifting and Cleaning of blocked manhole of any size of depth not exc 1.50 metre each, by taking out accumulated sludge, silt, mud etc and removing the same at a distance not exceeding 50 metre (where directed), complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Note:-(i) Disposal of sludge obtained shall be disposal of in pit made by contractor and spreading of bleaching powder @ 1.00 kg /sqm and covered with fine sand complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (ii) Rate of disposal of sludge are inclusive in quoted rates.
(iii) Cost of pit shall be deemed to be included in the item rate quoted.
