The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing one of the following during the last 7 years: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, or (iii) One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. Additionally, the bidder must have a minimum average annual contractual turnover of V/N or 'V' whichever is less, where V is the advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees and N is the number of years prescribed for completion of work for which bids have been invited. The average annual contractual turnover is calculated as an average of "total contractual payments" in the previous three financial years, as per the audited balance sheet. The work experience certificate can be from a government organization or a public listed company with an average annual turnover of Rs 500 crore and above in the last 3 financial years.
