Any item of works provided in the Metro Railway's Standard Schedule of Rates (P.Way)-2016

Any other items of works not provided in the above schedule but are required to be carried out for satisfactory completion as per E. Rly's USSOR-2021

Providing, drilling, fixing & rebar grouting of 16 m.m dia. HYSD bar in the form of shear connector in the plinth beam on the elevated structure of the viaduct. A) Drilling of 20 m.m dia holes in the plinth beam from top of it to a depth of 150 m.m in the PSC girder beneath. The depth of penetration of the rebar/shear connector in the PSC girder is 150 m.m minimum. B) The total depth of 20 m.m dia hole varies with the depth of plinth beam & is equal to the depth in BLT plinth plus the depth of penetration in the PSC girder. C) The dust so formed due to drilling in the hole is swiped off with the help of an electric blower. D) The hole should be thoroughly cleaned with a brush and should be in a bone dry condition. E) The hole is then checked thoroughly by site in-charge of Metro Rly. Kol. F) The epoxy chemical HY-200 R Hilti make or similar or equivalent as approved by the Engineer- in-charge is being poured in the drilled hole of about 48 mL in volume. G) The length of the rebar/shear connector is to be inserted is kept 10 m.m less than the total depth of hole drilled.H) The rebar of 16 m.m dia HYSD bar of grade Fe 415 or above so prepared is inserted in the hole immediately after step F is done. I) The remaining portion of the hole is filled up a cementitious grout ,or similar or equivalent as approved by the Engineer-in -charge, upto the top of BLT plinth. The rate shall include all Contractor's labour & materials, tools & plants, lead & lift, taxes, ascends, descends etc. The cost of cementicious grout and 16 m.m dia bar to be paid separately through MRSSOR-2016(P-way) & ERUSSOR-2011 respectively.
