The bid capacity required in the given tender to bid having value and formulas is as follows:

- 30% of quoted value of per machine for 2 similar nature of completed work (Mechanical de-silting work or Operation & maintenance of sewer cleansing machines or operation & maintenance of solid waste cleaning machines) during 5 years prior to the date of issue of the tender notice (Option b).
- One single running work of similar nature of completed work (Mechanical de-silting work or Operation & maintenance of sewer cleansing machines or operation & maintenance of solid waste cleaning machines) which has been completed to the extent of 80% or more and value of which not less than the desired value (Option c).
A lump sum amount of Rs. 5,80,000 per machine is also mentioned.
Technical Capacity
The required prior work experience for the bidder includes completing work of a similar nature, such as Mechanical de-silting work or Operation & maintenance of sewer cleansing machines or operation & maintenance of solid waste cleaning machines. The bidder should have completed one of the following:
- Work of minimum 40% of quoted value of per machine during 5 years prior to the date of issue of the tender notice.
- 2 similar nature of works for minimum 30% of quoted value of per machine during 5 years prior to the date of issue of the tender notice.
- One single running work of similar nature, which has been completed to the extent of 80% or more, and the value of which is not less than the desired value.
The quoted value is calculated based on the silt/slurry removal rate offered by the bidder, using the formula: Quoted value = Silt/slurry removal rate x 7.5 x 2 x 24 days x 60 months x 1 machine. The percentage of similar works completed is 40% or 30% of the quoted value, depending on the option chosen by the bidder.
