Supply of Cast Carbon Steel ASTM - A 216, Gr. WCB Double Flanged Gate Valve as per BS : 1414; API-600, Class # 150, with stainless steel rising spindle & internal working parts, flange drilled as per ANSI B 16.5 Cl # 150, raised face and hand wheel including making flanged joints at both ends with SW SS gaskets, supply & fixing of nuts, bolts, etc. all complete in all respect as per the direction of engineer-in- charge.

Structural Steel Works: Supplying, transporting, fabricating, erecting Structural Steel work from rolled sections and built-up sections like flats, tees, angles, channels, plates, pipes, etc for various structural elements as required . Preparation of drawing, design & specification shall be arranged by contractor at his own cost as per guidance of IOCL. Item also includes painting of structural surface as per the following painting scheme: i. Surface preparation: St-2/St-3 ii. Primer: P4- Self Priming HB Epoxy Primer - One Coat, DFT 100-125µ iii. Intermediate Coat: U1- Polyamide cured HB Epoxy mastic coating - One Coat, DFT 100-125µ iv. Finish Paint: F1- Two Pack Acrylic Polyerethane (PU) - two Coats, DFT 50-60µ (2 coats of 25-30µ). Total min DFT 250µ The items include supply of paints and other required meterial, scafolding, labours, tools and tackles, etc. complete. The make of Structural Steel / tubular steel shall be of SAIL/ Tata/ RINL/ Jindal or equivalent as approved by EIC. In case some small Mild Steel sections are not manufactured by SAIL/Tata, steel of other manufactuer may be used which must confirm the relevant IS code with prior approval of Engineer-In-Charge.

STRUCTURAL STEEL GRATING: Supplying, transporting, fabricating in factory, Electroforged rectangular gratings as per layout drawings with plain bearing bar and Cross Bars duly press locked into bearing bar by electrofusion. Gratings shall be duly hot dip galvanized after fabrication given in the detailed specification with minimum thickness of galvanising of average 85 microns all through the sectional area, & erecting in position and fixing in position mild steel Grating welded/ bolted/placed with adequate clamps wherevever applicable in floors, platforms, staircase steps, trench covers, landings etc. including cutting for openings wherever required as specified and directed at all floors at all levels etc. complete. The grating shall confirm to the typical section details of grating as shown in drawing . This works includes setting in position in Footpath/ Gutter/Drains/Floors to the required level and line over a bed of 20mm Average thick cement mortar (1:3). NOTE: The Grating shall be factory made, i.e. fabricated & Hot dip Gavanised in shop & transported to site for erection.

FABRICATION, ERECTION & WELDING OF MS PLATES OR STRUCTURALS FOR REPAIR OF EXISTING CR / IFR / EFR VERTICAL TANKS FOR PRODUCT / WATER STORAGE OR ANY OTHER STRUCTURAL WORKS: Item includes replacement of bottom, annular, shell and roof plates in existing Tank. It also includes replacement of shell manhole reinforcement plate, wind girder plates, other structurals like staircase, ladder, handrail, crossover, bridges, pipe support structures etc. All other items such as labour, equipment, power, consumables, etc shall be supplied by contractor. While replacing roof plates of existing tanks, special care should be taken to avoid local sagging/depression in the roof plates. Note : a) The steel plates shall be of Mild Steel Plate conforming to IS 2062 GR.'B' / IS 2062 E250B fully killed & will be free issue material for this item. b) Item does not include dismantling of damaged plate in existing tanks. c) Rate to include making all arrangment for proper installation of new plates after dismantling of damaged plates. d) The rate shall be inclusive of provision of metalic tubular scaffolding up to required height as per site condition. e) Item does not include any painting works of steel plates. f) Radiography will be paid separately as welding shall conform to radiography quality.

Structural Steel Works in Vertical Tanks: Supplying, transporting, fabricating, erecting Structural Steel work from rolled sections and built-up sections like flats, tees, angles, channels, plates, pipes, etc for various structural elements as required . Preparation of drawing, design & specification shall be arranged by contractor at his own cost as per guidance of IOCL. Item also includes Painting as per below mentioned painting scheme : i. Surface Preparation : St-2 / St-3 ii. Primer : P4- Self priming HB epoxy mastic coating - 1 Coat, DFT 100-125µ iii. Intermediate Coat : U1- Polyamide cured HB Epoxy MIO - 1 Coat, DFT 100-125µ iv. Finish Coat: F1- Two pack Acrylic Poly-Urethane (PU) - 1 Coat, DFT 40-50µ Total DFT minm 240µ etc. all complete as per drawing, specification and direction of Site-In-Charge. However, painting scheme for structural steel work inside tank to be considered as per painting scheme of the internal surface of that tank. The make of Structural Steel / tubular steel shall be of SAIL/ Tata/ RINL/ Jindal or equivalent as approved by EIC. HYDRO-TESTING OF TANKS: Hydro-testing of vertical storage tanks to be carried out by filling water in stages upto full height, recording settlement / plumb at suitable number of points, etc and after emptying out water in stages after hydrotesting. the job includes Cleaning of tank after hydrotest, boxing up of tank after completion of all works & inspection, including supplying and fixing new gasket along with bolts & nuts confirming to IS 1363 & 1367 and washers of approved quality for all Manholes, Nozzles, Inlet /outlet valves, water draw off valves, etc. complete & as per instruction at site. Water required for the hydro-testing of tank shall be provided by IOCL within terminal premises or paid for separately as per water supply item in this contract. Water conveying pipes, water pumps, all material and labour, as required shall be arranged by the contractor Including providing rubber gasket for hydrotesting. However the vendor shall make all neccessary arrangemens to pump the water into tank & to drain out the water also at no extra cost to IOCL. This rate is universally applicable for all vertical Tank sizes & capacities.

EXTERNAL PAINTING OF PRODUCT TANKS (ALL PRODUCTS INCLUDING ATF & WATER) IN ZONE- B : FIRST TIME PAINTING Surface preparation by Blast cleaning and painting of the tank as per details of specification given hereunder and the Techno-Commercial bid. i) for EXTERNAL FLOATING ROOF tanks : Surface preparation by blast cleaning & painting the outside surface of tank shell (upto and including curb angle) and upperside surface of upper deck, wind girders, rolling ladder, roof and shell appurtenances of EXTERNAL FLOATING ROOF tanks including all fittings and appurtenances etc.; providing IOC logo with tank writing work as per enclosed specifications (Table-2) and drawings / ii) for CONE ROOF tanks : Surface preparation by power tool cleaning & painting the Outside surface of tank shell upto and including curb angle, upperside surface of roof, roof & shell appurtenances of CONE ROOF tanks (CRVT / IFRVT) including all fittings and appurtenances etc.; providing IOC logo with tank writing work as per enclosed specifications (Table-1) and drawings. Note : 1. Application for External / Internal painting for all product tanks shall be carried out by means of AIRLESS SPRAY PAINTING SYSTEM only. 2. The item rates for above should include provision of double staging scaffolding with MS pipes, drawing to be approved by Site-Engineer. i. Surface Preparation as per SA 2½ ii. Primer : P3- Red Oxide Zinc Phosphate Primer - 2 Coats (30-35µ each), DFT 60-70µ iii. Finish Coat : F2- Aluminium Finish Paint - 2 Coats (15-20µ each), DFT 30-40µ Total Min DFT 90µ

EXTERNAL PAINTING OF PRODUCT TANKS (ALL PRODUCTS INCLUDING ATF & WATER) IN ZONE- B : RE-PAINTING / MAINTENANCE PAINTING Surface preparation by power tool cleaning and painting of the tank as per details of specification given hereunder and the Techno-Commercial bid. i) for EXTERNAL FLOATING ROOF tanks : Surface preparation by power tool cleaning & painting the outside surface of tank shell (upto and including curb angle) and upperside surface of upper deck, wind girders, rolling ladder, roof and shell appurtenances of EXTERNAL FLOATING ROOF tanks including all fittings and appurtenances etc.; providing IOC logo with tank writing work as per enclosed specifications (Table-2) and drawings / ii) for CONE ROOF tanks : Surface preparation by power tool cleaning & painting the Outside surface of tank shell upto and including curb angle, upperside surface of roof, roof & shell appurtenances of CONE ROOF tanks (CRVT / IFRVT) including all fittings and appurtenances etc.; providing IOC logo with tank writing work as per enclosed specifications (Table-1) and drawings. INTERNAL PAINTING OF PRODUCT TANKS (OTHER THAN ATF) IN ZONE- A and ZONE- B : PATCH / TOUCH UP PAINTING Applicable for CRVT/ IFRVT/ EFRVT Tanks; painting area as per IOCL specification depending on hydro-carbon (product) stored in the Tank. Note : 1. Application for External / Internal painting for all product tanks shall be carried out by means of AIRLESS SPRAY PAINTING SYSTEM only. 2. The item rates for above should include provision of double staging scaffolding with MS pipes, drawing to be approved by Site-Engineer. i. Surface Preparation as per St-3 ii. Primer : P2 - Polyamide cured Epoxy Zinc Phosphate - Single Coat, DFT 70-75µ iii. Finish Coat : F3- Amine adduct cured HB Epoxy Liner - 2 Coats (100-125µ each), DFT 200-250µ Total Min DFT 270µ

INTERNAL PAINTING OF PONTOON INTERNAL SURFACE IN EFR TANKS IN ZONE- A and ZONE- B : FIRST TIME PAINTING / RE-PAINTING Applicable for EFR PRODUCT Tanks; painting area as per IOCL specification 1. Surface Preparation as per St-2 2. Primer : P2- Polyamide cured Epoxy Zinc Phosphate - Single Coat, DFT 70-75µ Total Min DFT 70µ

Dismantling of MS Plates in bottom, shell & roof of CRVT/ FRVT/ IFRVT Tanks either partly or in full as directed, by gas/hacksaw cutting from the existing weld seams & removing the MS plates from the tank by mechanical means, with utmost precaution and neatly straightening and storing at a place indicated by site engineer anywhere in IOC premises, etc complete irespective of lead and lift as directed. The rate includes the cost of labour, gases, providing necessary temporary supports, safe walk ladder, safety precautions, etc., all necessary equipments, all necessary structures, clamps, suitable non-combustible material wedges, etc. complete to the satisfaction of site-in-charge. Plan area and average thickness of steel plates will be considered for calculating the quantity of dismantled plates. Weight of appurtenances will not be considered seperately in measurement and no extra payment for the same will be made. Note: Contractor has to submit the dismantling methodology clearly stating the restraining techniques to be involved so that circularity of the undamaged Shell plates remains undisturbed, prior to commencement of work and has to get it approved from IOCL. Steel Plates, structures, apputenances, etc should be dismantled with utmost care as these are to be reutilised.

Repair of Defective Weld Joints in Tank Bottom Plates : All weld defects in Lap joints in Tank Bottom Plates, annular plates should be removed by fine grinding and rewelding to be carried out suitably to ensure no further weld defects. Welding to be carried out using E6013 electrode and testing to be done for the length of defective weld repaired.

Repair of Rolling Ladder in existing EFR Tank: Carrying out repairs of rolling ladder by welding of hinges to ladder structure at either end/or putting cotter pins, correcting alignment of rolling ladder steps by adjusting the link, etc

Replacement of damaged Legs in EFR Tanks: Item includes cutting the corroded leg pipes in the double deck floating roof tank, removing the existing pad plates by grinding and providing new sleeve leg pipes of 80 mm dia (Schedule 40 thickness) and inner leg pipe of 65 mm dia. (thickness shall be as per schedule 80), necessary pad plates and welding the entire arrangement for trouble free operation, etc complete. The leg pipe sleeve to be braised with brass strip for spark free opration. (refer B&R Drawing No. BR/FR/252 Rev-0) The entire job shall be as per specification & direction of IOCL.

Dismantling and re-installation charges for complete Mechanical Seal / Foam Seal: Dismantling and re-installation of complete mechanical seal (primary and secondary), supply of required labour and removal of existing foam seal including weather shield, foam, seal cover, holding down bars, nuts/bolts, etc. and stacking the same at the designated place inside the terminal. Dismantled material shall be the property of IOCL. The item includes charges for supervision by manufacturer, if required. Modification of any of the rim angle (by hot work, drilling and supply of material including rim angle, if required) for fixing of new mechanical also is included in the scope of contractor.

Supplying providing 6 mm thick, 2 ply neoprene gasket as per drawing in between flanges of existing 400 mm dia gauge well housing, providing nut/bolts, etc as required.

Replace corroded Emergency Drain Pipe with new pipe as per B&R drawing ref. BR/FR/267. DP test of root run of welding should be carried out and vacuum box testing of any new welding in lower deck plate should be carried out at no extra cost.

Supplying, providing of safe tubular double stage (box type) Scaffolding outside the tank as per specification & satisfaction of location in charge. After use, the same shall be dismantled and taken away by the contractor. Payments shall be made for actual area of scaffolding provided based on requirement. Area of scaffolding will be measured on the basis of actual height of scaffolding provided multiplied by actual average length of scaffolding provided.

Designing, supplying, fabricating, welding, bolting, riveting, assembling and erecting in position 8.0 M high Fire Screen Wall around the tank with GI sheets with cross supports, etc (temporary required local) as per alignment shown by site Engineer, maintaining same till the completion of entire work and dismantling the entire screen wall, carting away the dismantled materials from site, redoing the entire existing surface to the original condition, etc complete.The 8M high Fire Screen Wall including the foundation is to be designed and approved by a ''Licensed Structural Engineer'' and should be suitable for local soil bearing capacity, wind speed, etc.

Conducting Dye Penetration Test on the new weld joints (shell to bottom plate, pad plates for roof supports, lower deck plate with leg sleeve, manhole neck, rolling ladder, etc) after welding.

"Supply and installation of Cathodic Protection (CP) System (by Sacrificial Anode on product side) - for bottom plate of Product Tanks : The job includes drawing, design, detailed Engineering, supply of material, installation, testing and commissioning of SACRIFICIAL CATHODIC PROTECTION for the mitigation of Internal corrosion in bottom plate of product Tank. The main activities involved are: Basic Site Survey, Design, Detail Engineering and Supply of material followed by installation, testing and commissioning and handing over the CP System as per detailed specifications enclosed. The SACRIFICIAL CATHODIC PROTECTION design shall be based as per NACE Standard RP-01-96, RP-0575, RP-0193-93 and corrosion control in petroleum production, TPC Publication No. 05 and Indian Standard IS 8062 (1976): Code of Practice for C.P of Steel Structures." Please Note: Drawing/design for providing sacrificial cathodic protection system in product tanks to be done only after site survey/visit.

SUPPORTING OF ENTIRE TANK ON JACKS AND PROVIDING SUPPORTING ARMS AND BEARING PLATES UNDER EACH JACK : The item includes placement of suitable capacity hydraulic/screw Jacks under each support arm, taking load of entire tank on jacks/supports and bearing plates, lifting the tank to a suitable height to level the tank, stabilising the tank by providing proper supports, cutting and removal of existing restraining cleats, grinding the burrs and examining the spots by DP / WFMPT after completion of Double Bottom Work. The jacks and support systems shall remain in position and necessary height/level adjustments shall be made time to time to ensure that tank is in a horizontal plane. The installation, level adjustments, supporting, fitting, welding, lowering on New Bottom/Annual Plates & complete the work in all respects to the satisfaction of Site-In-Charge. Weldings shall be examined by DP / WFMPT as required as per API 653 and shall be paid separately. Defective welding shall be repaired and re-examined by DP / WFMPT at no extra cost to IOCL. Note: All Plate, Jacks, Structures shall be supplied by Contractor. The structural arms, Bottom support plates, blocks, etc shall be removed and taken away by contractor. The methodology for tank lifting, supporting, lowering on new Bottom/Annular Plates, etc shall be submitted to IOCL for approval, before start of work. - Rate per Jack

Supplying and laying Bituminous Carpet (anti corrosive layer) of 75 mm thk. for sand pad of tank in two layers using bitumen and stone grit mix made by thoroughly mixing dry stone grit with hot asphalt grade VG10 8 to 10 % by volume and consolidating and rolling lightly to conform to the tank bottom slope etc.

SUPPLY, ERECTION OF INDUSTRIAL SAFETY NET (FIRE PROOF) - the job includes providing the fire proof Safety Net of approved width and quality with all fittings/fixtures, covering the designated area properly, including making all arrangements, etc to complete the job in all respect as per instruction of Site Engineer.

Rim Seal Fire Protection Dismantling and refixing with supply of consumables if required

Boxing up the manhole cover of the tank including supplying and fixing 3mm thick non metallic type CAF- 9 gaskets of approved make as per IS 2712- 1979 with steel fasteners as per IS 1367- 1967 and washers of approved quality.

Supply of Mild Steel Plates of suitable width and length ranging in thickness from 5 mm to 28 mm as required, conforming to IS 2062 Gr. 'B' / IS 2062 E250B, Fully Killed (Un-trimmed and un-normalized condition of approved make). Rate should also include cost of inspection by IOCL approved 3rd Party inspection agency as listed elsewhere in the tender document. The item should be executed with prior approval from Engineering Department.

Weld build-up of all deep pits at corroded sections of shell/roof/bottom/annular plates and wherever required using electrode of appropriate class with minimum current application and ground flushing. Item will be measured in square meter of plate area bounded by pits built-up by welding. In case isolated pit(s) are weld build-up, minimum area paid will be 0.5 M2.

Design, development of drawings, selection of materials, manufacturing and supply of primary and secondary mechanical shoe seals assembly for floating roof tanks as per the specification for rim seals . Contractor to supply maximum possible length of the seal. Any overlaps at the joints shall not be considered in the total supply length. (GI Type)

Welding: Cleaning, gouging/grinding /bevelling as required and carrying out welding of joints of required size wherever required/left out on the tank after surface preparation by grinding if required. Item includes testing of weld joints by DP test, chalk kerosene etc, if required. Scaffolding , if required, will be paid separately.
