Eastern Railway Tender

The required prior work experience for the bidder includes the execution and commissioning of internal and external electrification works, such as wiring, supply and commissioning of LT electrical fittings, LT overhead lines, LT cabling, LT Distribution Panels, Street lighting, Yard lighting, earthing, LT crossings, and modification work. The bidder should have completed similar works, including DG set, Pumping installations, Window or Split type AC Plants, and associated works, in respect of staff quarters, service buildings, street lights, Passenger platforms, concourse, circulating area of Railways, Airport, CPWD, defence buildings, State government secretariat, SEB's, Public Sector Undertakings, and any other Government departments. The bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 (seven) years: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, or (iii) One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. In case of tenders for composite works, the bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 (seven) years: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, or (iii) One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. For subletting of work, the subcontractor must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required. The advertised value of the tender should be more than Rs.20 Crores for certain clauses to be applicable.
